    Morning everyone,
Lovely flower photos @Chivetalking beautiful colours. Have a lovely day with your mum.
Love Graham's new home @debs64 He should love it in there, especially hiding in the pots 🤗
Throat seems much better this morning, thank you @Ladybird4
Lovely pic too @Songbird-1 Need to get some Chives, mine seem to have disappeared 🤷‍♀️ Hope all goes well at the dentist.
I heard about the 3rd wave too Hazel. I do wish they would come to some agreement over the 21st of June. You have some say delay for a few weeks and others say no, it's ok Then there's others saying another lockdown  🤦‍♀️ I'd rather wait for awhile then go into another lockdown.

Very foggy here this morning, but the sun is trying to peek through.
Hope you all have a lovely day and the weather is nice where you are.

My bedroom window was open last night and a Garden Tiger Moth flew in. It was very energetic, I couldn't catch it so I turned out the light and it seemed to calm down, next thing was it was in my hair. Caught it and threw it out of the window but it flew back in before I could shut the window. Eventually got it outside. Think I may keep the window shut at night now!

Dressed in gardening jeans to give me incentive to do the weeding. Haven't started yet.

    Afternoon all,

I've had the paint brush out again this morning - touched up all the bits on the shed and bike shed that have been bugging me! Also, prepared some wood for a new fruit cage and slotted a (newly 'trimmed' ;) ) concrete gravel board into place.

It's also RIP to the Magnificent Seven. Perfectly healthy and ready for potting on but too small (at this point in the growing season) and surplus to requirements. Sacrificed at dawn :(

Afternoon everyone, phew it’s a warm one today 🥵
LB Hope you’ve managed to get your compost this morning,
Hazel Your Chives are growing well I do like the flowers on them, have your Alliums flowered yet? Hope your new crown goes smoothly,
SGL Pleased your throat is feeling better today, hope you’ve got some sunshine now,
Busy-Lizzie Great photo of the moth what a beauty, but I would not have liked it flapping about in the bedroom,
Biglad That was a tough decision to make, hope the survivors don’t let you down,
    Have a nice afternoon all.
  • Chive lovely photos from the garden.  Debs great that you have fort Graham, may he be very happy there.  Biglad it sounds like you’ve made some good choices re tomatoes and hope you’re successful.  Hazel it would be nice for you to see mum, something to look forward to.  Ante I’ll have some weeding jobs to do as after the rain there’s been a lot of sprouting.  Busy I’m starting mine tomorrow, jeans at the ready.  Might need a waterproof.
  • LB I hope you and Lily have had a good day.  I’ve made a light early tea and just having a cuppa.  Lily hope the croaking is getting less.

I'm afraid that was an Internet photo of the moth, not mine.

I love that purple and orange together @Songbird-1.

I weeded the raspberries before having late lunch, but then it got too hot for weeding. After lunch I mowed the grass around the veg garden area.

The builder turned up to do a couple of finishing off bits in the utility room and I gave him his huge cheque. It was a big job and I'm pleased with it.

After the trauma of the tomato plant mass murder :o , I've been to the driving range this afternoon. I didn't hit many out of the middle but eldest soon got the hang of it and can't wait to hit some more. We had a quick browse of the GC next door but no soft fruit bushes to be seen so we left empty-handed. Back in time for Nadal so she's had a good day.
