Similar here Biglad - apart from watching the tennis. Nadal does my head in with all his pre-service mannerisms.

Hazel, lovely flower bed you have and cosmos is beauty.

It was very warm day. No breez, no rain, only sun. I bought two books and they came this morning, so it will be reading night. One is about Genghis khan and other is one from Shardlake series. It's Dark fire, only one which I didn't have or read so far.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments about the Rhodie. It's called Carrie  Ann.
Lovely colour Cosmos @Songbird-1 Love the wooden flower box too.
@bluebellsinthewild Aww what a shame you don't have the Lyodloom furniture anymore.  I have my MIL Lyodloom chair in tge spare bedroom, I love it.
@Ante30 you should treat yourself to a Rhodidendron,  they really are beautiful.

The plumbers came and repaired a slight water leak in the downstairs loo. I think it came from the new shower pipe from the hot water tank so probably their fault. They also fitted my new gas hob and a wall light to go over my sewing machine desk. The old gas hob was awful, flames too hot and diamond shaped so you couldn't reach the saucepan on the back burner without risking a burn or scald if other pans were in front.

Good morning Debs and all to follow. Sorry to hear that you had a bad night Debs but you must be looking forward now to the change in your Fiancé's work and having him home every night. Its a good thing you spotted the leak Busy, and got it sorted out. Things are really taking shape in your home now.
