I finished the painting and unpacked 21 boxes of books, but I have a few more boxes and I need another bookcase!

I weeded the round bed but only half o it as it was too hot.

Good morning all I had my early night and was asleep before 9pm so feeling better this morning. I want to pop to allotment for watering etc before work this afternoon. Still fairly cool here but I imagine it will soon warm up. Hope all slept well.

    Good morning all. Morning @debs64
I slept very well, can't remember the last time I slept without needing the loo in the night.

The farmer has just baled the hay in the field opposite. I've been watching 2 roe deer playing in it, the first deer I've seen since we came here. I'm glad the garden is fenced, I hope they don't jump over.

Taking coffee back to bed. When house hunting I saw a few houses where the beds didn't have bedside tables. How do you manage without a bedside table? I have books, handcream, lipsalve, tweezers, a calculator, glasses, a pen, a pencil and a sudoku book and a mat for my coffee cup on mine.

A very good morning Debs and Busy and all arriving later. I slept well too last night which is always a plus point these days. Another bookcase Busy? Will this mean more painting to be done before you can unpack your books? Debs, it is cool and overcast here after the rain yesterday - which didn't last long enough to do any significant watering. That will be one of my tasks today.
Busy, I love the description of your bedside table and that made me take a good look at mine. It includes my radio, my wireless charger for my mobile, the second handset for the landline, tiger balm, Olbas oil, a lamp, mat for my water bottle, box (small) of jewellery, scissors and two tags from new garments (which I really need to dispose of now!), a shopping list and a piece of string! Eeek!

It has now gone even darker here so maybe more rain is on the way. I hope everyone has a lovely day.

    Morning all,

Friday track session done. Eldest wants to play tennis this morning but may change her mind when she sees the dark clouds above :o

I caught over 20 Cyrils in the act last night. OH thinks I've lost the plot wandering around the garden shining a torch on the plants ;) They were only going for the marigolds and rhubarb leaves, which is encouraging. If some foliage needs to be sacrificed, I can live with that. Although I still picked them off and got rid :D
