Good morning all. Beautiful morning here but I am off to work. Only until lunchtime and then it’s an afternoon in the garden before I go round to my sisters for tea, we are trying but with both of us working it’s harder to see ea ch other regularly. Lady next door wants some bean canes so have promised some of mine from the allotment.
No football here we are not fans.
My cosmos are still tiny but I think this has been a funny year, maybe there will be late flowers.
Hope everyone has a lovely day.

Hazel it was interesting to hear Monty say that he thought everything in his garden was at least two weeks behind because of the strange Spring we have had which agrees with what you and your OH are experiencing. It could be a magnificent Autumn

Good morning Debs. You weren't there when I posted. My Bestie gave me some cosmos seedlings and they are titchy. I've only just managed to nip out the tops to make them more bushy so it will be a while before I see any flowers

My cactus that flowered last year has done it again. The tiny little seedlings I am carefully nurturing are not much bigger from when I last posted a picture of them but I will collect some more seeds from this flower if it produces another seed pod. I wish that the flowers would last longer as they are so beautiful

    Morning all,

Busy few hours ahead. Got about 4-5 hours driving, picking up and delivering to get through before, hopefully, getting home before the 2pm KO ;)

You better get a wriggle on then Biglad - don't forget the supplies for tomorrow's big match.
I cannot believe that it is a week since I took in that half a gallon of milk for my next door neighbours. Where is time going?

Morning everyone,  a beautiful sunny morning here, sorry LB. Hope the sun arrives where you are too.
I'm enjoying the peace and quiet at the moment, as next door had a 'gathering' last night till the early hours 😩  There will be a few sore heads I think this morning 😉 We had to close the windows it was so noisy, but then it was rather hot so didn't sleep much. Having a slow quiet morning. I'll join you all in another cup of tea ☕☕
Some of our plants/shrubs are definitely a few weeks behind LB
    Have a good day everyone.

Morning SGL and Ruby. I think I'll get the bed changed this morning and get Lily's TV in action. There is a nice breeze outside so things should dry quickly. If it stays like this SGL, at least I will be able to get work done in a more bearable temperature as tomorrow I will just feel like a limp lettuce!
