Good morning Ruby and SGL. Nice new specs Ruby. It will be great when everything jumps back into pinpoint clarity. Its cloudy here too SGL which is rather disappointing as I was hoping to see the partial eclipse this morning. Going to Bestie's today - taking my knitting in case we don't go out to the GC. Plenty of gossip though

  • Good morning.  Lily lucky you having the loydloom chair, they are lovely.  LB enjoy time with bestie today. Have a lovely time.  Debs I hope you have a better night tonight.  Hazel your wise to keep out of the heat if you can.  Busy it’s good your leak is sorted.   You have lovely neighbours helping you.  I have some more weeding to do they seem to have shot up and I need to cut back the mint.

    Morning all.

I hope you sleep better tonight @debs64.

I'm going to do some weeding this morning. Had thought of doing it before it gets too hot but been chatting to OH and a friend on the phone.

Then I'll do the last coat of paint on the bookshelves.

    Morning all,

The storm clouds passed us by without unloading yesterday. It seems we had a sprinkling overnight but not enough to avoid any watering duties :( Overcast and dry seems to be today's offering until late afternoon when the golden orb returns :)

I've had two e-mails asking about my availability for work in the last 24 hours. How on earth can I tend to my fruit and veg if folk are expecting me to work as well :o

  • I’ve come in from the weeding and bagged it up.  Still more to do .  Making poached eggs on toast for lunch and having a cuppa.   Cooler now, looks like it could rain.

Good afternoon everyone. I've had a great day with my Bestie today. As I'm typing this RosieBB its pouring down outside. Only started about 5 mintes ago.
Hazel, I don't understand why you thought of outside knitting? 🤔
Busy, I hope that you managed to get all your painting completed.
    Biglad, how very dare they!
