    So many beautiful roses! All of mine are on the cusp and I'm kicking myself for not keeping Chippendale or Eglantyne in my basket.

    My Desdemona's have survived (just) so still have two planters that need filling ...

    Thanks all, I just showed the video to my wife who found it absolutely hilarious - I put the apostrophe in the wrong place on my boys’ sunflower, so it says boy’s sunflower. A boy’s sunflower.. the sunflower belonging to a boy.

    That’s how impersonal I am about my children 🤣

    I’m not changing it now.

    @Tack I do have more plants now than I have space for, I’ve got a lot of planting and shuffling still to do.

    @Lizzie27 - Yes I just filmed it on my phone and then used a video editing app on it - YouCut I think it is on my android phone. I had to replace the sound part-way-through as my neighbour came back home and started making loud banging noises which somewhat spoiled the ambiance! So I copied the sound from an earlier section.

    @Marlorena - yes she’s huge, and very awkward to prune! Might need to invest in a long reach pruner as that area is very tricky to get a ladder to now. Covered in buds which are just starting to show some apricot through.

    Just got back from a weekend away and none of my roses are in flower yet!

    Some are on the cusp:

    Young Lycidas

    Can anyone explain what's wrong with my Kordes floribunda? I have fed it with tomato feed and used seaweed foliar spray. The leaves have gone all yellow and discoloured and lots of new growth looks to be dying. Some of my other roses have similarly yellow leaves but nowhere near as bad. I fed them DA slow release food around late march/early April (1 scoop each).

    Etoile de Holland:

    Kordes Lovely Parfuma:

    Here's my sad looking Desdemonas

    I'm feeling a bit disheartened as I've put so much effort into my garden but many of the roses are looking really sad and diseased and not sure what I've done wrong! I know why my Desdemona is looking sad as it was shocked with replanting, but don't have a clue for the others.

    I'd love to do a vid but want to wait until the borage and white roses are out and the garden is in summer garb with a fuller, high, mad, wild expression.

    @Mr. Vine Eye Your stop go animation is wonderfully funny.

    @Mr. Vine Eye Fantastic garden, very neat. Malvern Hills is growing like Jack's beanstalk. So many plants waiting in line to be planted out :)
    Oxford. The City of Dreaming Spires.
    And then my heart with pleasure fills,
    And dances with the daffodils (roses). Taking a bit of liberty with Wordsworth :)

    @cooldoc
    .. I'd say that was Sparrow damage, I get it often here at this time, as they land on stalks, the stalk bends and breaks,  small buds get dislodged..  that's my guess..

    @Katsa
    ..your Desdemona isn't too bad.. I found this a difficult rose to recover from moving.. I had 4 of these, I moved 3 and none of them recovered soon enough, so I took them out altogether... only one left now... it's not a good time either of course, so you will just have to be patient, but I've seen worse after a move..

    .. you said you used foliar feed.. if I saw those leaf issues on my roses I would put it down to fertilizer scorch.. so I'm thinking it's a reaction to the foliar feed... I'll be honest, I don't like the stuff and never use it.  It's something that has drifted over from agriculture.   Roses can only take the micronutrients from foliar feeding, of which it only needs small amounts, and because it remains on the leaves, is liable to scorch..
       Just pick off the rubbishy leaves and give it time..  they're not too bad, seriously..

    @Mr. Vine Eye I love the video. I like how you added the plant names into it - I hate talking on a camera but I could do something like that.

    @Fire I love the colours on your Doctor Jamain. It seems worth growing, even though it is tricky to grow well.

    @newbie77 Augusta Louise is a very pretty rose, I can see why it is so popular.

    @Tack Beautiful roses. Regarding your little babies, please take some photos when they are bigger. If they are repeat blooming (I am assuming they are), they will almost certainly flower this summer.

    I love everyone's Desdemonas, it almost looks like I am the only one without it.
