I’ve lost Graham Thomas and Mutabilis here in this newish garden of 3 years…never did replace GT, not sure about Mutabilis just yet. I wonder if the spot I have is no good, or the specimens Nollie and I received were just duds.
@nollie I think phlox don’t enjoy hot and dry climates, and while I know yours isn’t typical, maybe that’s why they’re not sold there? Farmhouse nursery does sell this variety and will ship to you, but for how much… 🤔

A visitor, it seems the rosebay willow herb patch was used! 😀 An Elephant Hawk moth caterpillar:
@dabolem, so that’s three of us who couldn’t keep Mutabilis alive in three different climates! I did assume we just got duds, @Omori, but I wonder now..
Re phlox, it’s possible it wouldn’t do well here, but sometimes things surprise me by being far more or far less heat/drought/mildew tolerant than anticipated. I had an order from Farmyard nurseries just before the Brexit deadline, they were all good quality, healthy plants and I would order from them again if I could.
Leah Tutu is beautiful @pitter-patter. China Town I had to look up - such a delicate lemon, yours looks much nicer than the online photos.
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
Thanks @Mr. Vine Eye, it’s my phone camera, an iPhone. Maybe a hawkshead fuchsia might be acceptable…?
@Nollie According to the shipping info, Farmyard will still ship to the EU but they’re shipping in batches of multiple orders to keep the extra costs down. I’m not sure how long that would take to pool enough orders.
I thought you might like a catch up @SeahorseFriend on my Blue for You. From the full flush mid June, it lasted till mid July before the last blooms were cut back. Now its had flowers most of August, not quite as many, but still plenty. The fragrance follows you around the garden. I thought I had better take a photo as we are having heavyish rain, and the present blooms have already been out over a week.

Thank you, @Tack. That’s very kind.
What camera do you use? Your photos are always great!
