@Nollie Here it gets to about 90cm wide but could well be it gets wider in hotter climates?

@cazsophieq2019 Because it is a modern rose. If it is a shrub/bush rose, then the chance for it being a once-bloomer is almost non-existent. Most modern climbers also repeat but many of them could be slow to repeat.
From your photos, I would say it could be a climber.

Ah OK, so there's a chance there may be more blooms this year?

I'm afraid I didn't deadhead correctly as only took the blooms off and not their tail stem.

@edhelka Looks lovely and I especially love the white scabious.
  • Thank you all for all the ideas on white roses. I will look into them all, but  that said  ...knowing me I will change my mind 10 times before settling on my first thought of tranquillity!,  ...only to then change the colour scheme at the 11 hour! What ever I decide on... I'd  better get cracking at making  the new bed!

My boscobel has totally defoliated after blackspots. I like it's flowers but I am thinking I will replace it with something else.

'Purple Skyliner' is such a useful semi rambler, continuous bloom... and should be better known, yet people will still buy 'Veilchenblau' because of its romantic name..
