RHS Bridgwater is about 50 min drive from me, I’ve booked to go on the 23rd June. Geum totally tangerine is one of my favourite plants, it’s much bushier and dense than other geums and will flower all summer long if deadheaded, it’s what I call a good doer!
Hopefully more roses will be added to the garden over time. I watched the first part of the making of the gardens on BBC iPlayer, very interesting and I loved the pigs that were used to clear some of the overgrown areas.

All my established roses seem to be shrugging off the cold wet weather, and are covered in buds.
One of my two new patio roses Sparkle is doing better than the other, one is covered in powdery mildew,  the other only at the tips of branches. I hope they both recover with some warm weather.🙄

@Nollie I can almost smell your divine roses from here. I would put in Munstead and Prince and Soul if I had any room. I've got to the point where I really have no space left. The patio is slowly disappearing year on year, bushes are coming out, but there is still no space. Ho hum.

That’s the trouble here @Fire, I see lots I covet too. I have to control my urges as I feel guilty about water usage and the time I spend on the roses, as opposed to getting stuck in to the ever-growing list of DIY and maintenance jobs this old property demands!

Anyone with Eglantyne find the foliage is a bit crap? Not sure if it’s an issue with my rose or the rose in general.

@Omori, yes I do. My Eglantyne never has enough leaves and is rather leggy, despite manuring and feeding it. I meant to try Marlorena's tip of notching lower down the stem to make it bush out a bit more but because of the awful weather haven't yet been able to try it. The blooms are pretty though.
