It’s such delight seeing everyone’s roses. I only have 4, all in their first year and I’ve missed the first flush because I’ve been away. Finally one of t roses is blossoming again:)
It’d be great if someone could help me id it (I bought it reduced from b&q without a label). Can it be Arthur Bell? It smells yummy 😋
It could be Arthur Bell, but with its habit of going pale to almost cream, it could also be Celebration. I have both @Oliya , Celebration has a very upright habit, and Arthur Bell becomes a large bushy plant, so growth will help you decide. 😀
My whole garden is breathing a sigh of relief as we seem to have entered into a cooler, rainy period. Lots of new growth on roses, especially Mme. Antoine Mari, which has suddenly taken off:
Another huge cluster on Golden Beauty. Will have to be moved as the scale is all wrong in my oranges and lemons border, too visually dominant, towering over Lady Em and us sat next to it!
Rose de Rescht, compact habit, happy in a pot, fresh green and very clean foliage, cute buds, small but powerfully fragrant blooms, what’s not to like?
First bloom on Mme. Isaac Pereire for months:
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.

Thank you for your response:) I’ll keep an eye on its growth habit. At the moment it’s just one long cane…
I'm delighted with this one I planted as a bare root in Autumn. Since I took these photos last week it's put on a very sudden flush of new growth, surprised it's happening so late...(?) in Summer. I dunno, everything seems off on timing this year.
Thany you @edhelka . I have placed a bare root order with TCL but will amend it down from the 8 roses it currently contains.

I agree Arabella is a good clem @Ffoxglove, my peachy/orange is my new Lady of Shalott, I like it but the blooms lose colour easily and it looks like it's going to be sprawly, huge and a sawfly magnet. Pic from yesterdayCarmen Wurth on the balcony is finally giving me undamaged blooms, my experience with it mirroring @Marlorena's. I will probably give this another year.
England's rose is lovely in all ways apart from shortlived blooms, but plenty keep coming.@Nollie I really like RdeR as well but i need to keep trying different feed to make it greener. It is really unfazed though. MmeIP has one bloom starting its second flush too but too atypical to photograph. I'm glad you have better rose weather, in spite of all our recent storm and rain warnings my butts are empty. It is funny how desperately I try to use grey and butt water while I have a mains water leak spewing down my drive. It will be repaired by the water company...eventually.
The rose of 2022 has been announced apparently "Its a wonderful life" (Dickson). Looks very pretty.
Trevor whites have a sale of potted stock! Oh dear.. pheno geno peach and eden rose just fell into my basket... oops! Thorncraft clematis have 10% off certain ones too. Has anyone got clematis royal velours? I fancy it next year to go up the shed after thr spring ones finish, or madame julia maybe.
Heres a few from my garden today: Checkmate - dickson rose. Very pretty. Crown princess margaritta Left border.. few things resting, few opening (echinacea...) knautia melton pastels is a bit too tall so giving it to a friend next year and replacing with two dwarf versions of knautia macedonia in similar colours as bees love it and I do like it, just too tall and thuggy there! Might squeeze another rose in
