I've made an order from TCL @edhelka but am holding off the rest for now as I'm starting to confuse myself with the lists and back-up lists🤔 Will order the rest in September hopefully.

@Nollie @Victoria Sponge Yes that’s me with Golden Celebration 👋 The flowers for me look like the ones on the DA listing. This one is described as having “long, arching branches”, which whenever I see that description, I take to mean it needs support from day 1. At least in my case, I can never get them to look as neat as they do on the DA website!
  • Thanks @Omori, it does look like a fine yellow. Described as strongly scented and with hips. I clocked the bit about 'long arching branches' too...wish I had more room for big sprawly shrubs.

I do love mine @Ffoxglove The scent is lovely. It's only fault is it's prone to blackspot, but maybe I have made things worse by letting it grow too tall.

@edhelka Ive ordered most of the bare roots I wanted, munstead wood and lady em from Austin and fabulous/ special sister, simply gorgeous and koko loko from styles.  Will probably order a couple of cottage memories ones too once available. Id love something small like lavender ice in pink or similar shades to lavender ice to go on the opposite side of it.

@Ffoxglove I had Sheilas perfume as a suprise gift for my birthday, its lovely. It had powdery mildew but hasnt stopped flowers and ive treated it so hopefully it will vanish. Its flowering well and has a gorgeous scent!

@Mr. Vine Eye I can imagine! I know a lot of teachers and the paperwork etc is crazy.  The rest is so much more important than assesments.  I wish we'd been taught some horticulture etc! ;) (I learnt that one at home instead!)
I had teachers that gave up their time, extra tuition at lunchtimes, and one in infant school that brought in her own older daughters books because I had quickly read everything suitable in the schools little library and needed a better challenge.  I struggled with the social side of school so things like that from my teachers really made a big difference to kids like me, and very much contributed to future success :)
