Sharing my current feelings about the roses in pots. Apart from mildew the roses don't have any diseases yet so it will be interesting when that comes into play. Does anybody agree/differ?

@Tack - Of your list I have ( 1st year all) chandos beauty , abfab and easy does it. Having started earlier , the easy does it seems to be having a bit of a rest ( lots of buds , but none open currently-- this one is in more shade and in a 30 litre pot though vs the others in much bigger ones) , the other two are so lovely I'm thinking i might take cuttings! ( even though i know might not work out as own roots). I am particularly happy about the CB as I had anticipated it would be less good in it's first season (and I really like the intense perfume, although I can see that some might find it overly sweet). All of them relatively disease free - and after the tealeaf tip also relatively light on aphids. Now if only slugs and vine weevils hated tea as much as aphids do...
@celcius_kkw, thanks. Mine are in 45cm and 55cm pots and first year roses. Have fed them only once with tomato feed and once slow release food in early spring. that could be reason. I will give them a regular feed.
@edhelka, do you have geranium azure rush? How does it compare to rozanne in terms of colour, growth and flowering time?
@Mr. Vine Eye, are aster monch and geranium rozanne easy to propagate with cuttings? did you root in compost? I am thinking whether to buy more plants of those or try my luck with cuttings. My original plants are fairly small so cant take too many cuttings either.
My CB is only first year, was a bareroot in November I am astonished at its size, helth, scent and abundant beautiful flowers @Desi_in_London. There has to be a catch. One of the first to start EDI is still flowering well and so rain resistant, as is AbFab which I just totally take for granted now.
Wildberry and Eglantyne have totally stopped but have great new basals and buds.
@Victoria Sponge Warm Welcome looks good with dark, attractive foliage. This year I seem to want more orange and yellow, last year my desires were all dark and rich!
@Eustace I find it difficult to take decent pics of BN and GdeF, they look way better in real life. I think the pictures bring out the detail where when you look at the plant you see the overall loveliness first.
Great roses @cooldoc I like the double yellow, achillea has really grown on me. You've managed to photograph a good dark purple in Tw. I don't seem to be able to capture any of the darkest colours well. Case in point below.
Proper Job, Grafin Diana and Jingle Bells @newbie77 I gave my pots DA rose feed in spring. The ones that have flowered really profusely got a tomato feed in their water a fortnight ago and I've just given all the pots some slow release granules. I can't remember what I did last year, just used what leftover old stuff that I already owned I think.
@newbie77 Yes, I have both and both are flowering. I'll take a comparison photo for you. But I would say that the flowering time and the look of the flowers are almost identical. Regarding the growth/size, my Rozanne is in its 3rd season and extremely thuggish. Azure Rush was only planted last summer and so far doesn't go for the world dominance (and I hope it won't).
While we have workmen in the house I am banishing myself to garden and one room so I may be dominating this thread, sorry ish. This is where the banished roses ended up Elina on the right and Susan williams Ellis on the left, a bed newly created from a dense shrubbery. We will be pulling/digging snowberry sprouts out forever.
@Tack is your Boscobel on the ground? what did you dislike in her? for me she has been in bloom since the season started and is never without buds..
and for pics.. I have found that, if I take in pro-mode on my mobile.. it remains closer to its actual colour.. have to fiddle with some settings.. especially for the reds/ purples..
I think CB is a winner for everyone.. I will wait for the end of season to post my list.. as of now the only rose I am a bit doubtful is Emily Bronte..
I am maybe too critical @cooldoc but the legginess drives me mad, the colour is also not my favourite but i do like the scent. But it keeps getting bigger with longer and longer propping needed.
