    Morning everyone,
A frosty but sunny morning here too. I'm going to make the most of the sunshine, rain is forecast for this afternoon. 🙄 Hoping the frosty mornings stop too, I need to plant my sweet peas 🤦🏻‍♀️
OH pilates day again, the weeks go by too quickly.
Hope you manage to get everything at the SM @Ladybird4
Wow @debs64 that's a lot of little  plants.
We want guttering on our shed too @Biglad it will help fill the water butt much quicker.
Time for another cup of tea

    Morning all.
I think we had quite a bit of rain in the night  :), garden needed it. Now it's sunny. The forecast is very wet next week, just when Thursday (Ascension Day) is a bank holiday in France so a lot of people have a 4 day weekend and Son 1 is coming to visit now that we are coming out of lockdown.

Sounds like bank holidays are the same the world over (weather wise) BL. You'll be pleased to hear we finally had some usable rain in this part of the world too - so your little Norfolk garden will be very happy.

Hope you get your roofing problem sorted soon Big Lad - a little water goes a long way and makes a disproportionate amount of mess. Do you think a tile's been dislodged by the high winds we had over the weekend?

Sunny but breezy & chilly here. Off to SM this morning, dentist this afternoon (check up) & might pop in to the nursery in the same village - just to see what they've got at the mo. They supply local councils with all their big pot & basket displays so bedding is their 'thing' (always get my pelargoniums there - such a good choice) but they also have a small but good (& cheap) selection of perennials, alpines and obelisks. Sometimes find a treasure...

Back from dentist - all ok except had to drive through a heavy sleet shower to get there. Weather is bonkers at the moment!

Evening all. I've had a nice, busy day. Shopping was good - got everything I wanted but I'm very disappointed to say that my 'sco has not had any outside plants this year so when I hear of others picking up bedding plants etc. at their SM I am very jealous.
How did you get on with your 60 plants and your artistic pots arrangements Debs? Biglad, fingers crossed it is only a minor snag causing the leak. Sounds like there COULD be a gap between the extension roof and the original roof and water will always find a gap. T'Bird, did you pop into the nursery after your Dental appointment? Good to hear you don't need anything doing. Busy-Lizzie, you must be looking forward to seeing Son 1 when he visits you. How long has it been since you last saw him? I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that T'Bird, Hazel and Ruby had had sleet. We certainly don't need any more extremes. I've just put my bin out and it is very chilly outside.
I managed to get Lily's TV working and I've potted on Ricinus (my poison plant T'Bird), Verbena bonariensis and Bidens. I now have Liatris, Crocosmia, Heleniums, Echinacea, Salvas and Knautias all ready for going out side. That will be Friday's task as I'm seeing Bestie tomorrow. What's the betting it chucks it down on Friday?!
I'm signing out for tonight sending thoughts to Chive, Yvie, Chey and Ante. Hope they are all OK.
    Enjoy Your Evening GIFs Tenor

Been a mixture of weather today, but no snow. Rained very heavily again around 4 o'clock  with huge hailstones. And has rained on and off all evening. Temperature dropped too. Put the heating on for awhile early evening. Do hope the weather improves, so we can all get out and enjoy the garden.

    Night night everyone sleep well
