Such very sad news. I do feel for the Queen, not a good year for her in many ways.

Afters all, work has been good for keeping my mind occupied and will hopefully do so in the coming weeks.  Post mortem was inconclusive, so blood and tissue samples sent off. It could take up to six weeks for the results to come back.  Cremation has been authorised and is on the 20th, so can't be suspicious.  Onwards and upwards.

Condolences to Her Majesty......I feel for her. ......At least I can mourn without the public's gaze on me.

Hi Pauline. I'm glad that work has been distracting in a good way but you still have a lot of unanswered questions and 6 weeks seems such a long time. Stay strong Pauline.

LOL @Ladybird4 - do let us know when you find out what is that weight and size!  Sorry to hear about Prince Philip. Very sad for the family.
No gardening for me today - a bit cold out there. But, unlike you @star gaze lily my delivery of 2 shoe racks arrived in a timely fashion yesterday and today I have been assembling them. They are in our tiny lobby by the front door where before our shoes were in an untidy heap.  I bought two so ALL of our shoes can be kept there now but mainly because I can use one of them as a staging post for seedlings as it's nice and bright there but, being by the front door and unheated, cold. Pleased with them - but hope it will be a long time before I have to wield an allen key again.

What a good idea for your seedlings @didyw I can see at certain times of the year the shoes might find themselves pushed into a corner.
Forecast here for tonight is -3°C so the tea bags that were once my Camellia's pretty pink show will look as if they are twice used tea bags tomorrow.

That's a long time to wait for more information Pauline.  Hugs.
Been busy in the conservatory sowing seeds this afternoon.   Having a cuppa now and watching a bit of Walter Presents TV.
