Hello everyone. I had a good visit day but boy it was cold.
Chive, Lily is back to normal now thanks to the antibiotic. Her appetite seems to have improved too.
Yes, Biglad, that is how my garden looked for a short time yesterday. I'm glad to hear there was no major impact damage either to your house or your car. The gritters were out on the M6 this morning.
Ante, I've added a visit to Croatia to my bucket list. Gorgeous. Biokovo reminds me of a place called Rivington Pike which has a complete covering of light snow today. I could see it from the car as I was driving home. It looked quite magical. Your lilac is very advanced compared to mine, which is still in tight bud.
Debs, feel free to rant. You made some excellent points there and I'm glad that the youngsters can rely on you to defend them from angry customers (who should know better).
Ruby, how are you feeling after your second jab yesterday? I hope you are just feeling tired. It must have been nice to have a catch up with more of your family today.
Yvie, its lovely meeting up with a Bestie and putting the world to rights. I am enjoying my Thursday meet ups again.
Hazel, I didn't know that you are a 'Trekker'. Another of my favourites and speaking of which, its LOD tonight folks.

Very excited for LOD tonight. It's going to be a corker - I think this season they've really ramped the pressure up from what was a bit of a slow burner to begin with. Starting to boil over now :D

Evening everyone, hope those of you with snow are keeping warm.
PurpleRose That sounded like a hair raising drive yesterday, you did well to remain calm. Hope you’ve been able to get outside this afternoon,
Topbird I hope you’ve got yourselves all ready for the trip away, have a safe journey and a lovely break,
RosieBB It sounds like Alfie was enjoying himself on the bed, they do make you laugh with their antics 😀,
Biglad That was a bit dodgy, I suppose it’s lucky your driveway slopes towards the house rather than out into the road,
Hazel Lucky you with your dentist and haircut appointments this week, hope it all goes well. Enjoy a relaxing evening.
Yvie Lovely to see your bestie, hope you can find somewhere nice to visit together on Wednesday,
Rubee It must have been so good to see your eldest and SIL today, makes all the difference to see your family.
Glad you've had a good chat with your rellies today LB and didn’t encounter any treacherous roads on the way. Pleased to hear Lily is getting back to her normal self now,
Hope you all have a lovely evening.

Hello takhana, welcome to Rez. I said it earlier but think it is useful to have seen all the other series of LOD because of the threads that continue through to this new series. I'm loving it though.
Sorry PR, I meant to add that I think you did very well with your drive. It is scary when the road conditions are 'iffy'. The fact that your OH didn't notice your trepidation speaks volumes.
RosieBB everything crossed here that you get your internet connections sorted very soon. I know how frustrating these things can be.

T'Bird, when are you setting off on your trip to Somerset? You do realise it is incumbent on you to try some of the local tipple and give us a report back?

LB - we're away on Wednesday morning for a week. Hoping to get to Montacute House if the gardens are open. Anyone been there?
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

I haven't been there T'Bird but it looks stunning. I remember getting an email to say most National Trust gardens are open but you will need to book to be sure of getting in.
