Since I joined this forum I have been infused by the enthusiasm of many posters for flowers (really a veg person) and decided to try and increase my decorative gardening.
I am drowning in begonias, over run by lobelia, have more pelargoniums than I could sensibly use but no echinacea, honesty, salvia or gypsophila.Β This flower gardening is hard work.

Speaking of damp weirdos I keep seeing a group of ladies meeting up to do 'wild swimming' in a pond near here. It's right on top of the mountain and so exposed even the ducks don't go there. I'm sure it's very invigorating

My youngest daughter made a life size sculptural representation of that painting for some academic purpose many years ago.Β She made a suitable dress for her elder sister, filled a paddling pool and made her sister lie in it while she sketched her.
While it might be tempting to be thought pale, interesting and wronged I'm afraid Ophelia would win hands down. I'm just mucky, disorganised and frustratedΒ Β

Like all extreme sports @wild edges I doubt it is invigorating but probably more healthy than extreme fasting or self flagellation. Anyway if my recollections of parenting two pre-school children are accurate you are an extreme sport participant yourselfΒ Β

Call from number 2 son with whom I did 3 way call on 14th back to work assesment interview, today he received letter from DWP saying as he didn't do it they are stopping his benefit, rang them they confirmed, couldn't understand why DWP had written, told m eto ring them, number shown on letter had been unused and for years.freephone number disconnected on me, tried again after 30 minutes tell the girl his name address et c,she tells me she has no record of him,had he moved no been there 10 years new claiment no 10 years.I ask how did you write to him then,guess what,they are all working from home!! She can't access anything,I tell my son to send me a picture of the letter which he does,the address section is blank
