    Morning all.
Dry, fairly sunny and the wind from yesterday has moved on. More one handed gardening for us today.
So sorry to hear about Moira @punkdoc. To be honest ,it's down to what I'd expect from Govt Depts these days. Just look at the leadership!!
@Nanny Beach, such a pain for you. I wish we could come up with a solution.

At least she is happy about the rugby, have to admit I was supporting France: firstly to annoy her, secondly because I didn't want the Welsh to win the title. Sorry @AuntyRach
And folk say the English are bad losers! o:)

    Hi all

Woke to a layer of snow this morning, now melting rapidly.

We had sleet yesterday afternoon @punkdoc 😕 and although we have bright sunshine now, there’s a strong bitterly cold west-nor’westerly 🥶
    keep warm.

Must remember to send congratulatory email to the Welsh  branch of the family 🏉

Very cold here as well @Dovefromabove, not an outdoor day.

Hi all bright and breezy here,  not warm. We have just done garden patrol with mid morning coffee in hand, lovely to see lots of things stirring.  The Trilliums are looking great, it only taken them about 15 years 😄

    Morning all.

    Let’s not fall out @punkdoc 😂

To be honest, I don’t feel like Wales have ‘won’ unless they go out on a win, if you know what I mean.

Had a difficult week as Dad’s foot consultant has upgraded the plan to weekly hospital visits for 6 months. Mixed emotions as although he has a diagnosis and treatment plan, Dad will be quite disabled now. It’s just sad to see people you love going through hard times.

The ‘stay local’ lockdown has been lifted here today - listening to people at work yesterday, the beaches and parks will be packed with day-trippers today. Not my idea of a relaxing weekend. Crowds, traffic, public loos, screaming kids - no thanks! I’ll be in the garden and that will do for me.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

@AuntyRach, isn't weird how some hear " no need to stay local" as "it's all over and we can do as we please"?

    Hello all.

It's warm and sunny in Dordogne, had to take my gardening coat off. I've mown all the fiddly bits with the battery mower.

Just had cooked breakfast for lunch - super fresh eggs to eat up - and am having a coffee before I get out there.   OH is playing with his new mower after managing to prang a front tyre on its first day so he's taken the wheel off.  He's also cleaning his strimmer before testing it so he can take that to the doc's if needed when he takes the wheel to be mended.

Still getting cold at night here and another frost expected tomorrow and then a "feels like" the day after.    These days the clock change doesn't affect us as we get up and go to bed when we're ready but lighter evenings will be good if and when it does warm up enough to sit out a bit.

We stay at home at weekends anyway @AuntyRach as the locals head to the beaches but the Easter hols are almost upon us and that will make for crowding at the main seafronts.   Definitely somewhere to avoid.
