Yes, it’s very cheesy and hidden under that are helping of capsicum, tomato, anchovies and who know what else. 😜🤪. We had a small slice mid afternoon, and will have more for tea in an hour or so.
I espied next door’s goats helping themselves to goodies in our garden, so Hubby is sending his drone up there which we know makes them skedattle back to their own place.
Your garden is looking lovely @Lizzie27 - really springlike 😍. Is that a magnolia out already? And now I’m wanting pizza for breakfast @Pat E 🤣. Will have to make do with porridge though.
Off to school for me today .....feeling a bit nervous about my emergence from hibernation......you get used to being a hermit quite quickly, don’t you. Masks 😷 and hand gel at the ready 🧼🧽
Hi there Chicky. I’m glad you’re enjoying your horticulture studies. I loved those three years. I hope your Chicklets are settling in to the new arrangements.
@Dovefromabove, yes we were shouting boil, spot, bulla etc but they ignored us too. As for Shakespeare quotes in the style of Yoda, well I got a couple of them. Fun though. I heard the song Thrush this morning when I was putting the mealworms out, for the little birds. @chicky I know what you mean it's worrying how easy it would be to because a recluse, hope the interest of the day overcomes any trepidation.
Morning all ... @Allotment Boy and @Dovefromabove ... can't claim to have got all the first wall like you both did but I was also surprised that they didn't connect with "boil" on the other one! I found the yoda-shakespeare much harder than anything else ever is in that missing vowels round!
edit to add ... saw the kangaroos @Pat E ... and toying with the idea of abandoning porridge for cheese on toast for breakfast!
Done quite a lot already whilst waiting for the temperature to get above zero - I really don't like these sneaky frosts, I'm so worried about all my emerging plants. A few of the hydrangeas have got burnt edges on their leaves I noticed yesterday.
I think Pizza is my favourite food @Pat E, I almost always make my own, but none eaten this year with the dieting - might have to indulge soon though.....
Good luck at college @chicky, hopefully it will soon feel natural enough, although I do now exactly what you mean, I have been very reluctant to even go just shopping, only getting what is necessary. The idea of mooching around shops is still a long way down on my list of things I'd like to do, even after the vaccination.
Good luck to you too @sam bevington, sorry I can't give any advice but again I am sure it'll soon become evident and easy enough.
Right, last barrow load of manure to spread and then I am potting on and pricking out I think for the rest of the day. Possibly getting some grass seed down too in my new 'lawn area' It's a bit sad seeing it sat there empty of plants, although I did manage to find homes for all that I moved, so none have been wasted. I do think I am going to have rather excessive clumps of phlox though, it split down into about a dozen new plants.
I might be putting an ID post up later too, I have two little patches of new flowers growing up in two separate areas, they look very healthy and perky, but I have no recollection of putting them there and therefore no idea what they might be, they are quite distinctive, I am sure someone on here will know what they are straight away.
Good day all.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
