Cars are parked on the drive @Obelixx. There is an open sided barn like a big car port but it it full of garden furniture, rubble and hay for Caesar at the moment. May have to get the floor concreted.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Good evening all. I hope all Mums have had a good day. For those who find today difficult, like me, I hope you have done ok.

((hugs)) to you, AuntyR. I'm also one of those who find it's a sad day. It wouldn't be so bad were it not for the wall of adverts. One company - only one - offered an opt out from mothers day promotions. I guess there's someone in their office who knows what its like.

Sowed a few seeds, made bread, did the laundry. Cold and blowy day here but the forecast this week is looking a bit better and OH has his vaccine appointment this week - he's a bit older than me but hopefully mine will be soon now as well. GW is on on Friday, spring must be nearly here.

Hi everyone. Mother’s Day here is the first Sunday in May, so we’ve a while to go.
It’s very cold here this morning. Can’t see through the windows for water droplets 😳

Hubby was asked to go to the fire shed this morning to let some tradesmen in. They are installing security cameras in there. There have been instances of thoughtless idiots stealing chainsaws from some of the local fire sheds. Not sure what they expect firemen to do when a tree is on fire and needs to be dropped. 🤬 words fail me!  Anyway, our lot were given a grant so it’s now being sorted. 👏

I just had a call from Hubby. They haven’t turned up! He’s been at the shed since 8am and it’s now early 10.30 and when he rings their number there is a message to leave them a message. Der!  We were planning on going to town shopping this morning, but it’s a bit awkward now. Also need to go over the river to feed Venus. 😡 People!
