Ah, that takes me back, @Omori! Crimson Showers was the first red climber I planted. It was very vigorous but the blooms were white/blush pink. DA said they thought it was down to them having a bad thrips infestation, so replaced it. The replacement was the same, so they replaced that with a different rose. They never got to the bottom of it, thrips, mix-up in the field (but they couldn’t think what with) or a sport, reversion.. Then there was the lovely Gruss an Teplitz, another victim of my hot wall. Marie Nabonnand has recently replaced The Prince’s Trust on the wall of death - but strictly chosen for heat tolerance, not a true red, more magenta. God loves a trier!

@Fire I am sure you said that elsewhere, but what's that red salvia closer to your house (assuming the other one, red and white, is Hot Lips)?
I used to consider Rambling Rosie. I think it shouldn't get too big but it isn't completely small either. What about getting it as a weeping standard and underplant it with something pretty at the base?

@Tack I would put Ispahan there ;) but that's me and you said repeating... so then the second choice, The Ancient Mariner. Times three. A huge fountain of roses. Someone has it on Instagram, and yes, planted as a big group of three, I don't remember who but I remember it looking awesome.

Echoing @edhelka I would definitely plant a trio there as it will be a focal point. Luckily DA gives a discount on 3+ of the same rose 😛

I made a long 'huge shrub rose' list recently due to a spot I just found.  I settled on Papworth's Pride (for now, I haven't ordered it) but then I already have Lark Ascending.

    Other contenders were:
    Felicia
    Pink Prosperity
    Sally Holmes
Adam Messerich (which I believe Marlorena has, or recently mentioned)
    Pax
    Reine des Violettes

I don't know any of these roses I have to admit, they were just ideas and I tend to just go for what I like.

I've often looked at Clair Matin, but off the top of my head I can't remember if it repeats.

These might not be huge enough for your space though!

DA Scepter’d Isle would be lovely, scent is amazing and it’s well behaved and upright, a group perhaps? Attracts bees too.
