Beautiful garden Nollie and one for our list of places to visit Mr Vine Eye, when we next visit north.

Oh it's lovely. Couldn't share many photos though as they've all got family in!

Just spotted first rose buds!! Will post photos later.

Fabulous garden @Nollie. It's like a dream come true! You have already got a bloom!

@Mr. Vine Eye, yes glorious garden and weather.

@Fire, interesting observation. I enjoy all science behind plants behaviour.

  • Patio looks great @Mr. Vine Eye Job well done!

Some fabulous acreage there @Nollie, looks wonderful. I'm glad Sandra is feeling better too.

@AlliumPurpleSensation, after reading your comment about thorns I was reminded that I found my rose Flanders had impaled itself on it's own thorn. I saw a couple of weirdly crossing branches and found one had stabbed itself onto another.

Is anyone else planning this year's bare root purchases yet? I've got a dozen on my list already :#

@Victoria Sponge What’s on your list? 😁 I only have Indigo in mind, but I have spots for several pots...just need the pots, the soil, the roses, oh, and the money to buy it all! 😅

@Victoria Sponge I would say, 'Go for it all' :#
Some of my bare roots are as recent as 2 or 3 weeks.
@ Mr. Vine Eye Wow. My roses seem like they are ages away from blooming.

    Yes,
seems a bit early but I'm a believer in long range plans
    thought it was just me.
I have Autumn delight on my list too,
but then again, I have a list of 50 or so to whittle down to 10...
Just another day at the plant...
