  • Champagne Moment gets the Gold this year because it's in its 3rd position but happier than ever, healthy (not a black spot in sight) and has been blooming its socks off all season. I may just have to get another one...

@edhelka Lovely pics. What do you make of the Digiplex range? Are you enjoying them - are they long flowering for you?
@pitter-patter   said:  I almost bought a digiplexis today, but I’m not sure I want to invest in something that will not survive the winter.

@edhelka I ordered two 3l plants - Illumination Flame and Berry Canary, one of each.

@Marlorena  just to say, Digitalis Illumination 'Raspberry Improved' did not survive a winter here in East Anglia... and I mulched it too... so, I haven't tried it again since..  I would question that -10C hardiness.

Scouting around just now it seems that of the four I bought last year, two look like they have carked and two are fine. We haven't had anything below about -3oC. So, no, not impressed. Foxgloves are supposed to be rock hard.... Or so they say. Not these cultivars. I haven't lost anything else in mulched pots.
