@Marlorena, I expect they will get round to us all in the end, end of the year, maybe...
I like the sound of the bendy, thornless canes, @pitter-patter, sounds perfect for an arch, as you say re scent, can’t have everything in a rose, more’s the pity! Really pretty colour.
@Lizzie27, wow, thanks so much for doing that research and the comprehensive report. Sounds as if it’s going to be perfect for that big stretch of my ‘fedge’, it will need to be vigorous to fight it out with the (never-flowering) honeysuckle planted against the sturdy wire mesh fence buried somewhere under the greenery.

I'm not sure @pitter-patter, esp yours will be on an arch. Mine is still only a metre high/wide and I can't predict how it will grow; I've also never combined a rose with a clem so I wouldn't like to guess. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful
I have 'Lilac Bouquet'.. I mentioned it upthread... for me it grew more shrublike for the first year, then took off in the 2nd where it was over 6 feet... I lost it due to the new fence, so I've just planted another one.. Light scent, not much, but I thought it pleasant.. totally thornless and vigorous once it gets those roots down.. very wavy canes, easy to bend.. interesting rose..
We can rely on you to have grown practically every rose any of us enquire about @Marlorena, you are a star ⭐️ ❤️
A tiny bud has appeared on two newbies Forever Royal and Souvenir de St Annes. I’m getting that Spring impatience, but don’t think I will see any development for a while yet...

@Marlorena That’s good news, makes me feel less doubtful about making the right choice. And I don’t think anyone thinks that, I personally am very glad to read your posts and see your garden. 🙂
Fortunately you’re a fountain of knowledge who posts contributions which are always worth a read...
...if you were posting these same things so often on a motoring forum, say, then the petrolheads might think you were a bit of a pain in the bum, but you’re in the right place!
Been very tempted to, but DA handbook says end Mar/beginning Apr so have resisted so far. Is timing of feed at all dependant on cold ? I would imagine that we would not want to encourage growth whilst the possibility of frost still persists, but growth isn't going to be instant...is it?

Edited to say I’ve found your earlier post. Lovely photos as well. Thank you.

.. @pitter-patter
..yes continuous bloom, which is why it's rather slow in the first year.. too busy flowering, but patience is rewarded..
