    Good grief @Perki! I’m in Lancashire and the snow completely missed us. It looks beautiful though.

    Ye even I were surprised when it weren't stopping . Went for a walk in the woods this morning the trees looked beautiful with all the snow on, then it started falling off which was my time to leave rapido .

    Has anyone grown rosa “Open Arms? It’s a small rambler. I’ve just ordered a bare root one from DA. it looks good for the pollinators I’m hoping to attract into garden.

    ...  echo the 'wow' !.. although it's like middle of winter @Perki
    ..however, some of those photos are actually quite beautiful to look at from here.. especially the wooded scenes, quite stunning..

    .. good enough for framing..  No. 5 down is fantastic..

    @Nollie
    Re Duchesse d'Auerstadt.. it does grow quite well here, I know a garden in York that has it on a wall, south wall I imagine... I saw it on Instagram..   best of luck with it anyway... I think they're the right colours for your woodwork..

    @Bright star I watched the Burnley football match earlier today doesn't look like its done much there more a MR vine eye light dusting  :)   . Burnley only about 8 mile north,  same as Blackburn as well I believe . A lot of its melted now off the paths etc its been sunny all day but the lawn still covered.

    I did take more pictures @Marlorena thought it were a shame not to share some, I don't want to fill the thread up anymore with pictures not doing with gardening.
  • Checked my stem cuttings today and was disappointed that only one out of 6 has roots which is Eustacia Vye.

    This is one from Desdemona which has a side shoot but no roots.
