Let's hope he gets the care he needs and avoids long term damage @Yviestevie.  Such a worry for you all so huge virtual hugs on offer.

Hugs for @Yviestevie, at least he is being taken care of in hospital now.

The loos seem to be blocking up again, think the ground is so saturated the septic tank can't drain properly.

I have pruned the huge jasmine and didn't get rained on.

Gracious @Busy-Lizzie, not what you want at this time of evening. Do you think the septic tank's got a hole in it? I'm not entirely sure how they work.

Hasn't stopped snowing here since 7am. Not sure it's gardening weather tomorrow!
Stay safe and warm everyone! Goodnight

Best wishes from me as well Yvie. Not what you need right now.

we’ve woken to a cool morning, but not snowy like you all.  Might have to put a top on with long sleeves. 😂

BusyL. I don’t think we have any wild Oregano in Australia. The only ones I’ve put in were nursery ones that I’ve bought over the years, so I don’t know. They self-seed everywhere, hence that one beside the driveway. Anyway, I do use the leaves in cooking and the butterflies seem fascinated with them, so they’ll probably stay there. 😁

It’s very pleasant weather today. Washing is all done and most of it back in, so I’m happy.  No rain predicted for another few days, so I expect we will try to get more cleaning up of the fallen tree. Trouble is that Hubby isn’t well enough to do much chainsawing at a time and so we only get bits done.

It doesn’t really matter though, because there’s nothing much up on that hill except our pine trees. We bought them originally because we planned on harvesting pine nuts and selling them. We didn’t make allowances for the regular invasion of Black Cockatoos. 😡🤬. I do collect the ravished pine cones for the indies heater though, so I suppose you could say we get some benefit from the 1000 trees we bought all those years ago. 😁
