Busy-lizzie, yes, complain what a cheek, if that doesn't get you anywhere, my youngest daughter takes to the FB pages to name and shame it works a treat!!We bought an expensive tall boy, from a local family company where we used to live, when we opened the packing there was a massive great chunk out of the top, had a terrible job with them. Bought laminate flooring from B & Q a couple of years back, one pack completely smashed, young chap said refuse delivery of it, rang ordered more, they kept sending people to collect the damaged pack, which of course I didnt have, but not sending a new pack!!!
Poor @Hostafan1, last place you want to be, but I am sure they will get you fit and healthy asap. Get well soon and thank you for the update @punkdoc.
@Busy-Lizzie, you really have had a lot to deal with lately, very frustrating when you are just trying to get straight. I did wonder why OH had to go back so soon, I thought he would have been allowed 90 days from the 1st January (Brexit). I hope you get to see him soon and he has a safe journey.
My right elbow is very painful this morning, I might have overdone it yesterday with the digging and weeding, I will try and rest it today but I am very conscious that spring is here and everything (including weeds) is getting going. I might try and write a list, prioritising things and draw a plan of m new hot bed. It will at least get all the tasks out of my head, I couldn't sleep last night thinking about them all, which is ridiculous.
I did enjoy the fabulous moon though, at 3 am this morning it was nearly daylight. I stepped outside for a few minutes because it was so lovely and I could hear all the night animals too in the forest, a lovely moment.
Have a good day all.

Thank you @D0rdogne_Damsel. OH wanted to get back as if he leaves it until the end of March he won't be allowed back before August, there is a way of calculating your 90 days and how soon you can return, mystery to me. Also France Covid figures were getting worse and Dunkirk and the Pas de Calais were threatened with lockdown and he worried that it would spread to other ports.

Good morning all 😊 ☕️ I went to bed early and then woke to listen to Counterpoint and Mr Jam Bikini with OH ... but I couldn’t get back to sleep so checked in here and saw @punkdoc’s message so thanks for that 🙏. Then the wifi went down so I read until I felt drowsy, then went to sleep and dreamt about a funeral where the wake was first and involved making huge vats of marmalade, and receiving letters written on large brown luggage labels.
Now I’ve woken to a foggy morning... but OH has brought me coffee ☕️ and turned the wifi off and on again. 👍
Hope your OH has a good journey @BL. The fog will be clearing soon ... the sun is trying to come through already, and there’s no more forecast. Is he flying to Stansted?
(Edited to add: I’ve just read your reply to DD ... ferry of course cos he’ll need his car this end. )
I wonder if the difficult delivery men were worried about Covid safety? Certainly deliveries here are very different to how they used to be.

I hope he is OK, I expect hospital is where is is.
Poor Merri, it all sounds so long and painful, I hope they can at least sort her knees out.
Thank you all those who gave advice about cardboard. I have loads now as a dresser was delivered today, the men were meant to unwrap it, install it, put the top shelf bit on and take away the wrappings. I had paid extra for that, but they refused. They were the most unpleasant, unhelpful delivery men I have ever met. OH and I managed in the end, but I had a pain in my chest which scared me. OK now.
OH is driving back to Norfolk tomorrow, early start. When I next see him depends on Covid.
I've mentioned OH driving a couple of time @Dovefromabove, no flights from Stansted. If you want to fly I think you have to go to Heathrow and end up doing quarantine in a hotel, but maybe that's from red list countries. No Ryanair, no Easyjet for some time. OH already has a car in Norfolk.
The delivery men didn't care about Covid they wouldn't keep their distances and refused to wear masks. Made me quite nervy.
