  • That's what I meant @Hostafan1,  my hammer is only a 12 lbs one but I couldn't possibly use it one handed.  Maybe one time me literally being a lightweight is an advantage 😂

    In other news ....

Got a parcel of auriculas in the post this morning - they are now all potted up and looking bonny. They were posted from my favourite nursery in Northern Ireland yesterday - obviously no Brexit issues there.  Mr C made me an auricula theatre for Christmas 2019.  It’s about to get its final coat of black paint (finishing it slipped down the list once he realised the auriculas had finished flowering 😜), so it’s going to be dead posh outside our front door this spring.  I’ve spent the last few years displaying them on an old decorating stepladder, which looked good, but didn’t protect the flowers from the rain ☔️.  Think I might find something else to put on the steps.  Never miss a plant opportunity 🤣

I know @punkdoc - I am so relieved 😅.  We have been being so, so careful because of him.

What a bunch of masochists we are @chicky , being delighted at getting stabbed by a needle. I am even looking forward to the next one. :D The relief is palpable.
  • Great news about jabs. 😊

Morning all.  Still no rain, but low cloud looking promising. The breeze from the coast is very cool so its cardigan time again.

Good to hear that some of you are getting the vaccine.  There’s been no news on that front for us, but I’m due to see my GP in a few weeks, so by that time they might have a supply in the practice. I’m wondering if Hubby will be able to have it because of his cancer treatment. Time will tell. His next visit to the Oncologist is in a few weeks, as well. At least our area has been virus free so far, and we haven’t ventured anywhere except our local shops.

    Sleep well everyone.

  • Good morning all,

Hoping to finish the painting of the pergola today and then get back to the gardening - hopefully. I'll post pics  once we get to a point that it looks presentable @Obelixx.

Vey pleased for Mr C @chicky - unfortunately we seem to be very slow here at getting these vaccines out, very frustrating.

Looks like some of you are getting some nice weather today, winter is nearly over. :)

    Morning DD.

Not much done here today, but I did decide to harvest the Nigella seed heads (Black Sesame seeds) . Hubby doesn’t usually make bread or many pastry things, but if they’re there in the cupboard, I might nag him a little. 😁🙄
