    Good morning @Pat E and everyone else 😊 ☕️
Can someone please put the kettle on ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

  • Good morning @Dovefromabove and @Pat E and of course others to follow.

Dry here, hurrah, and possibly a little bit of sunshine. :) After an hour in the garden yesterday I think today will be spent oiking out brambles that have wrapped themselves around (now bare) shrubs, great to be able to see them without camouflage.  :o

Great to be able to get outside. But first my exercise routine.

Have a good day all, hopefully dry wherever you are.  :)

  • Morning all --- been  doing admin last few days ....so haven't said hello for a while -- but the sun is out so perhaps time for a break and a walk. I've been quite restrained about getting ahead of myself with sowing seeds ( only have a plastic/polythene cover little greenhouse)... but will try get some sweet peas and start those off in the next week and chillies a couple weeks later.
Kindness is always the right choice.
  • Morning all,  a dry and brighter start here too but a lot of clouds rolling around,  so we will see.
Got a delivery of bird food yesterday,  came very quickly, only ordered it Thurs pm. Need to find storage that will keep it safe from the mice now 🤔. I usually buy small amounts and hang it up in a carrier bag in the shed,  but this is 12.5 kg so I will have to think of something else.

    Morning.
I might venture into the garden soon then do a roast dinner later. Of course, I will make sure there will be leftovers to do a bubble and squeak the next day.

Morning all, I, too, was going to do more gardening today as we woke up to brilliant sunshine but after having some painkillers because my hip aches and a coffee, find that the sunshine has disappeared. It's not as warm as yesterday so I'll wait a while.
Sobering news indeed @Punkdoc. People get driven to do all manner of odd things.
Hope the exercise routine goes well DD.
We've got 3 of those sacks left @Allotment Boy. I went mad and bought 4 before Xmas and Brexit as I knew they came from Bulgaria and didn't want to run out. They were not cheap though.

Still sunny here and mild so lots of windows open to air the place.  OH is out there clearing stuff from my barn ready for the demolition of what is left of the roof.

7 eggs today!! and lots of lemons ripe too so a double patch of lemon curd is just finishing, ready to cool and pot up.  Some for the neighbours too along with their weekly egg delivery.
