Dove, here’s a recipe from Tess Mallos’s cookbook on Middle East cooking. Ā This is an Iranian meal.Ā

Who was asking about pomegranate? Ā  There’s info in about them as well. Ā I’ll look back.

@Obelixx, she is working very hard trying to sort out fish exports after BREXIT, and then having to cope with a very sullen husband.

I’ve found it. It was DD. Ā As above DD, this from Tess Mallos’s Middle East Cookbook.

    I hope this is helpful.

Morning all, first frost of the morning -2 deg, I took some lovely pics of my Cornus Alba Baton Rouge, the stems are stunning in the winter against the frosted grass, I must try and post them on here, I'm not good at that sort of thingĀ  :o Ā The sun is very warm now on the South terrace so must be time for a coffee and cookie.
    Have a good day all.
  • Ooh thank you @Pat E ... I’ve saved the bean recipe for my folder. Looks tasty.Ā

Oh @punkdoc ... poor Moira ... that’s an impossible task ... I won’t jump up and down about it here but Ā the Brexiteers promised the fishing communities that they could have their cake and eat it and that’s impossible. 😢 Ā Ā

    Morning all,

Loads of little jobs to do this weekend. I've written a list but the length of it is a bit de-motivating :o Might need to delegate some of them ;)

Weather is fine, though, so might have to postpone the list and do a bit of garden-mooching first instead :)

Hi folks, You've all been really chatty since I posted.Ā  Sorry to hear about your tools and trug @WonkyWomble Hope you get replacements soon.Ā
@Obelixx I never got on with my mother in law but it still affected me when she died.Ā  Same with my Dad.Ā  Hugs to you.
Hugs to you too @punkdoc Get the SAD lamp on and make some nice plans for the garden in spring.
Secondborn is spending the next few hours at a Covid testing station.Ā  Jonah has developed a persistent cough so she is having him tested.Ā  Hopefully it's negative otherwise no school for Jonah or Secondborn and Gabriel will miss out on nursery (which he loves).Ā  I will also have to isolate.Ā  So, once again, fingers crossed.Ā
Hugs to everyone who needs them.

    Good morning and G’day.

Just done the Saturday morning SM run and delivery to MIL.Ā
Just had one of my ocular migraine episodes - flashing lights very annoying. Just going now so time to make brunch. Nothing much planned this weekend.Ā

    Keep cosy and safe all.Ā
