Hi Fairy. Yes it’s becoming very worrying around the world. It’s such a shame that religious beliefs can lead to such angst.

Pixel is home. We’re alone!  Never mind, at least we made the trip without incident. Hubby had a sleep when we got home so alls well.

Morning all, got up at 5.50, thought the old man was asleep on the sofa, so took tea and Peter James back to bed, he informed me he WAS awake!!Made a cake it will be lemon drizzle for my daughter's Birthday, which is the 18th but she will get it oday plus her presents.  Yesterday after I got the washing done and dried really early, by 8.30, sun, brilliant blue sky, and wind, herumph!, Said it was going to be 8c overnight, nope never went below 11c, its sunny and windy now.  Just making batch of leek/potato soup, taking some to the son I am carer for, see you all later

It's not even 11 during the day here  :D
Does your hubby know you took another man back to bed @Nanny Beach;)
Glad your trip was trouble free @Pat E.

    Morning all,

Bright and breezy this morning with the promise of a decent few days to come. Could be more digging done :o

Fingers crossed that the US do the right thing today and start to consign that monstrosity to history.

There's a chap who has correctly predicted the US election results for the last 40 years, and he said it won't be Tango man. I'm not sure he'll go quietly anyway @Biglad :/

4 degrees here @Nanny Beach. It wouldn't be anywhere near normal if it was your temp here at this time of year  ;)

  • Hi everyone,  I am hoping for some dry days now. Lots to catch up on in garden & plots.  Most urgent is I need to get the protection on the Lemons as the temperature is set to drop.

I'll settle for a Biden victory today, two months of utter nonsense (the tango toddler kicking and screaming) and the new president being inaugurated on Jan 20th 2021 :)

I don't think ol' Biden is any great shakes either @Biglad, but I'm just glad I don't live over there  ;)
Hope you get the dry weather @Allotment Boy for your jobs. I don't think lemons would like living here somehow....

    Morning all.
Light rain forecast but it's dry at the moment.
The "Attestation" papers have arrived from OH so I can go out now for essentials and to the bins and tip. I've done some photocopies.

I expect Pixel will miss being with you and the freedom of being able to go outside @Pat E .

The oak trees in the paddock are turning yellow at last. The lime tree on the kitchen terrace has nearly finished dropping leaves. I'm getting fed up with sweeping them up.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
