    Oh @punkdoc.  That's hard.  I hope she'll be OK.

    Afternoon all,
@Desi_in_London it's good to hear some good news for a change.
@punkdoc My heart goes out to you, I know exactly how you feel.  Hugs.
I can't afford the calories involved in making a Christmas cake @D0rdogne_Damsel (I'm the only one who likes it) so if you could chuck a couple of slices my way it would be much appreciated  :p
Secondborn and the boys are coming over later.  We are in a bubble with her but despite this Hubby hasn't seen the boys for a few weeks now so he is lookig forward to a cuddle.
Spoke to my sister on the phone this morning she is classed as vulnerable and hasn't seen anyone since this whole thing began.  A couple of weeks ago she had to go to the dentist for an emergency appointment and has now been diagnosed, along with her hubby, with Covid.  She  is really poorly and could hardly speak to me on the phone.  The paramendics had to be called but so far she has avoided hospital.  We are keeping our fingers crossed that they will both be OK.
    Stay safe and warm everyone.

Just a quick note. We lost power with the storm, so went to bed early.  Will read everyone’s posts in the morning.

it was chicken that Hubby used with the tarragon.  Very nice too.
    Catch up tomorrow.

Turns out it was warmer than expected this morning (it was just below 0 degrees when I got home just after 10 last night) and moist :o

I've re-potted half the plants that got delivered during the week and skulked back inside to warm up and dry out ;)

Afternoon. Sorry to hear about more poorlies. There is not actually anyone I know, in person or on here, that isn’t dealing with some bad news or worries right now (on top of the obvious common worry).

It’s the little things that give me a boost at the moment. Today’s little things highlights so far today are: having a lie in because my early morning Saturday shop was done yesterday, French toast made with leftover french stick (recommend) and finding an old Queen CD and playing it loud in the car.

I hope you can all find a little gem (not literally 🥗) in your day today. Stay safe.

It was a live album so they always require some singing along too 😂
To be clear, I was alone 😂
    Good endorphin boost!
