That's a really horrid and frustrating and hurtful thing for @WonkyWomble to have to deal with.Ā  Hugs!Ā  And a pox on the thieves.

I have been and done the weekly SM raid which turned out to be bigger and more expensive than usual cos I shall be 27+1 next week and couldn't decide what to have for a celebration dinner so have bought options.Ā  And wine for those options.....Ā  And cheeses and chocolate.

No celery!!Ā  Just when I want a couple of sticks for once they had none at all.Ā  They usually have whole heads available plus loose stems so you can take as many as needed for your soup/stock/stew.Ā  Ā Ribollita with fennel then.Ā  Need a lovely warming soup for lunches this weekend as we're going down below zero.

  • Wonky sends love and thanks. Her Lively Hub says she’s not to go on any social media until she’s calmed down and a glass or two of šŸ· have worked magic. šŸ˜‰Ā

  • It’s only the hand tools @Fairygirl , trowel, hand fork, secateurs and gloves etc so not worth insurance, not a huge amount to replace, just bdooly annoying 😠

  • She’s going to round up a posse when she catches him ... I don’t fancy his chances against the combined forces of her and you lot 😲😶

That is such bad luck @WonkyWomble and @Dovefromabove, good job it wasn't her more expensive tools. We saw a parked works van a couple of days ago, nobody in sight, doors open, big battery tools neatly hung in rows inside - and keys in the ignition! Just asking for trouble, we were flabbergasted.
We've just had our SM delivery and I forgot to get coffee and tomatoes. Oh well, good job daughter doesn't mind going to the supermarket.
Sounds exciting @Obelixx, what are you planning to cook? Although really, if it's your big birthday, shouldn't it be one of the others?

Not planning anything yet @Lizzie27.Ā  OH's birthday is 2 weeks later so we had planned - pre Lockdown mark 2 - to book a table at the restaurant that does a special tasting menu - 4 courses of lobster and 2 desserts.Ā  Ā It'll have to wait a while now.Ā  Ā I bought scallops, jumbo prawns, salmon, ling and duck breasts plus some Korean and Japanese Gyoza and dim sum so can do whatever I fancy on the day at short notice.Ā  I do like cooking and am not letting OH loose in the kitchen but will probably ask Possum to make chocolate fondant for pud.
