I’m glad you can cheer your bro up with it Dove. 😃 The Roos don’t seem to damage anything, it’s the Wallabies that like eating tree leaves, flowers etc rather than Roos which like grass.
I just pinch fingers or reverse to enlarge on my iPad. 🙄

You might like these ones from a year or so ago.

They like drinking from the bird bath as well. 😂

  • @Pat E Oh those are gorgeous! I don't think I've ever seen one in real life. Perhaps when we can all fly again one to put on the bucket list!

I’ve already put the photo on the jigsawplanet site, Obelixx 😁  you can tell I’m fairly bored today.  I’ve spent quite a lot of time on the iPad.😊

Hi @Busy-Lizzie, on my touchscreen laptop, my daughter just put a finger on the bottom left corner of the pic and another finger on the right hand corner, then just moved both fingers out at the same time, stopping when there's enough enlargement. Hope that makes sense.
Do you have a date yet for the rebuilding Obelixx?

Thanks @Lizzie27, but I don't have a touchscreen. That's how it works on OH's iPad.

I’m glad you like them Desi. The Roos are really no bother to us. We like having them around.  The local farmers tend to shoot them to preserve their pastures for their sheep, but they’re not supposed to. I think there’s a law against it, but not really clear about that. 🥺

You can enlarge on the laptop by just using the touchpad [on the keyboard] too - it works the same way as the touchscreen.
We famously had a colony of wallabies here on an island on Loch Lomond [Inchconnachan] @Desi_in_London. Introduced by some landowner. They're long gone now. I think they were all inbred and diseased, and I seem to remember there was also some interference by some a***holes which led to their demise. Should never have been brought there of course.  :/

It's illegal to hunt, shoot or kill kangaroos @Pat E altho some people have licenses to cull.   Doesn't stop people killing them to protect their pastures or just for fun - like lamplighters here.

Technology!  One of my less PC savvy/receptive patch committee colleagues has just sent a load of instructions and photos to my mobile phone number and asked me to pass it on to our members cos she doesn't have the wherewithal.  Have had to remind her I do not have a smart phone and also that she has received the list of members' addresses.  Have just sent them again to each of the committee member as back up.

  • Afternoon all,

Lovely pics of the wild life "Pat E" . Funnily enough Charlie has a friend in Australia, they play on the computer games together, he keeps coming up with interesting facts he's learning about Australia, we've been exchanging things we know, I told him about your snakes and he explained about BBQs for Christmas dinner.

I've been baking again, currently have two large Christmas Cakes in the oven and four Christmas puddings on the stove top and two bowls of fruit all soaking for the next batch tomorrow.

Also spent far too long on the phone chasing up my M&S parcel. It's got long trousers in it for Charlie, 5 pairs, he is growing so fast all his current ones are too tight and riding up his ankles, I ordered these on the 3rd of November and so far they have promised delivery on 3 different dates and all have failed to arrive - getting very cross now, they have promised tomorrow - we'll see.  :'(

    Good news @Yviestevie
and well done for loading the skip @Busy-Lizzie , you certainly got your money's worth!

Going to have a bit of a fiddle in the garden whilst waiting for cakes, 1 hour to go....
