Blast you beat me Dove, (so, where's my cuppa!!) was just going through my e-mails, saw your post., regarding fleas. Was up at 5, debating whether to put the washing on, not a bad forcast for here, then the next few days are going to be wet.
  • Morning all,Ā

@Dovefromabove, I nearly joined you earlier, I gave up trying to sleep, thought the clock said 5:30 and started getting dressed, then realised it said 4:30 - which really is too early, so went back to bed and tried desperately to sleep, dropped off just as the alarm went off of course! Grww! I was chasing things in my dreams, never catching them and waking up with the stress of it all! Off to take Charlie to school now, catch up later, maybe after a nap.Ā  ;)

Morning early birds and G’day to Pat.

Not the best sleep either and was stormy out. Supposed to be dry and clearer today. Work travel times are on the cusp of sunrise and sunset now, and it will soon be dark for both. I try to think of the long dark days as nature having a ā€œclosed for refurbishmentā€ time, just to make me feel better about it!

    Have a good day everyone.Ā

I don’t think I had any dreams @D0rdogne_Damsel, which is unusual for me ... I must’ve slept very deeply. Certainly don’t want to be dashing around trying to catch things 😧

It’s our neighbour’s funeral today ... family only of course, but the hearse and cortĆØge will be leaving from the house so neighbours will stand on our doorsteps in respect.Ā

On a happier note, a fellow member of our local Nextdoor.com is bringing us a free plastic compost bin today ... they don’t need it any more and since we had the fence repaired and re-jigged the sunny corner we’ve not had a compost heap. This won’t be as big as our double heap but at least it’s somewhere for the cabbage leaves and potato peelings for the time being. Ā It can sit in the corner of the veg patch for now.Ā

Hi Wonky. Hope you and Hubby are ok.Ā

    Morning all/afties, evening @Pat E
I wondered why there were so many posts since I last looked in! I managed not to wake through the night - no wind and rain for a change.Ā  ;)
Handy having a live in worker who can collect your milk and eggs @Dovefromabove . She's getting some for me - I could have got her to get doublesĀ  ;)
