I get intermittent toe pain, but I have short tendons and tendonitis in knee and shoulder and arthritis as well. My sons have gout from time to time, but I think that's from their father's side, they had it when they were too young to drink port. I hope your pain settles down @Fairygirl.
Your past family life sound a little complicated @Obelixx and not the happiest. At least you shouldn't feel guilty now if you don't go to the funeral, it's nigh impossible to get there, what with quarantine and lack of transport, especially flights.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I'm OK with lobster and assorted crustaceans @Pat E but mussels make my hands lock. Very painful. Great shame as there are miles of moules de bouchots beds along the coast here and they are luscious.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Hubby has named our pigeon Headache. He was roosting on our front doormat so I've put him in the greenhouse with the door open. He is seriously a bit not right. But not in pain or injured or ill looking, just doesn't know what he's doing. I suppose you could say he's very clever as at lest there is no competition for the food at night time.
I'm pretty sure I know the group of people that took my trug, opportunists. I'm drawing a line under it. Anyway just shared big homemade pizza with hubby, and no work tomorrow so happy days! Night everyone

It might be worth reporting your thief to the police ..they might find your trug at the thieves’ lair !

OH has gout (genetic too) and now has daily meds which control it unless I go away for a few days and his diet changes - more beer and cheese usually.
If that trug does turn up it would be great @WonkyWomble. Fingers crossed.
