... done ... and strangely beautiful ... hopefully it’ll put out fresh young growth within the next couple of years and we’ll repollard  it  every 3 or 4 years with an extending ratchet lopper... if not there’ll be a rambling rose up there for the birds to hide in ...

A very professional and pleasant team of young men ... they’ve cleaned up behind themselves beautifully and cut some logs up for us to make a wildlife habitat log pile. I shall recommend them to anyone in East Anglia who wants work done 😊

Looks like they've done a really good job.   Must be a relief.   Extra light is good too.

  • Strange day here weather wise,  cloudy but so mild we had lunch sitting outside on the patio.  Maybe we were just warm from our walk but I don't think so.

    They do don’t they 🇫🇷

Our tree fellers have been hijacked ... they were just loading up to go home when the chap on the corner asked them to take down their big viburnum tinus shrubs alongside their boundary fence. The poor birds will miss those too ... I saw them watching across the road ... never knowingly left out of anything 😉

@Busy-Lizzie ... the Climber comes from one of the Lophams ... an appropriate place for a tree feller to live 🤣

A very dramatic difference Dove, although I must admit I'd have had it taken right out, the roots must be quite extensive.
