I’ve finished my fourth wash, 5 hours washing, but at last it’s done. Ā  The sun has come out but rather windy out there. Ā Lily I echo LBs words and sometimes it can be difficult to motivate, but it does us good to keep things turning over. Ā Sending my best wishes.

    Morning all,

Washing-up and laundry to do before, weather-permitting, some more digging :oĀ

Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable

SGL, I am ace at giving myself a good talking to and I don't have to do it too often.Ā  I consider myself very lucky in that I am retired and happy (relatively). I feel desperately sorry for the small business owners and the hospitality industry with this new smack in the face for them.
I am pleased to say that I got my tulips planted into their pots and positioned outside before the wretched rain came down once more. Garden planting finished the other day and now the last pots have been completed - Ante how are you doing? I am not going to venture outside any more today so I will be looking at my knitting........then I might do some!

    Afternoon all.
Long time no seen Col TT😁. It's no more sunny. Now is cloudy and light foggy. I spent some time in the front garden.
Love Sunday because there is so much quality program.Ā

Gosh Rosie, you done a lot of washing. Hope that you have restful day.

  • Afternoon everyone, sorry that break was rather short notice. We had booked the holiday at the beginning of the year for my 50th birthday and really wasn’t certain it would/could go ahead. Luckily we were able to travel and it’s not too far from us only about 71 miles. Canterbury isĀ a lovely place the cottage was an old school building set in a lovely 3/4 acre garden all uphill. We had a trip to Whitstable & Deal when the weather allowed us to get out and about. It was a change of scenery Ā and just in time for another lockdown, that was disappointing to hear.Ā
Hope you are all keeping safe & well, Rosie how is Alfie?Ā
Rubee, LB & Hazel your xm*s decorations look fantastic, I’m Ā really going to try and get something made this week. Anyway it’s nice to be back home šŸ¤—

LB,Ā I'm well, thanks for asking.Ā Also very happy because all my pupils are well, and negative on last covid test.Ā They can go back to school at Wednesday, but I must wait till Friday.
The heaviest thing for me is that I can't go to my cottage.Ā I have still a lot to do and lot veggies outside, days are beautiful but I must stay in the house.Ā It will pass soon.
I'm glad that you planted all your tulips. I'm considering to buy a few more.
