Welcome home Chive. So glad to hear you enjoyed your break and yes indeed you timed it very well. Ante, that is excellent news for your students and at least you know that you will be back on Friday which must be a big relief for you. I know you have missed going to the cottage but next weekend is looking good
Ante, I watched the Women's FA Cup Final (ssshhhh - wrong shaped ball!). It was very entertaining I have to say. More entertaining than the men. The men must go to acting school to learn how to pretend to have been fouled and to act near fatal injuries and then miracle!- they get up and carry on playing.

Chive I’m glad you’ve enjoyed your break and, as you say, a change of scenery.  It does sound like a lovely place.  Alfie was happy in himself but now hiding in the fabric tunnel and won’t eat the sardines.  I’ll give him some medication when he comes down.  At the moment he’s hissing in the tunnel.  LB it’s good you planted your tulips just before the rain started.  I watched Beechgrove this morning..  it’s a lovely series.  Ante good news that the pupils are well now and can come back to school and your wait until Friday, enjoy the remainder of your break.  Enjoy your evening everyone.
Good evening .We have very high wind and heavy rain .No change there .Chive welcome back , nice to have break .Ante good to hear that you are in good health .LB ,  I see the colonel is still looking crabby . He must not have wanted to be woken up 😉.
Evening everyone, LB My goodness you’ve been busy planting bulbs, you’ll have a stunning Spring display to look forward to next year the reward for all your hard work, Rosie I hope Alfie came out from his hiding place for his medication, those sardines must be hard for him to resist I hope he is on the mend, Rubee I really like your idea to hang those decorations up on some festive string a great way to display them, Hazel It must have been nice to talk to 23 better in person I know, but it’s a way to be able to see him. I hope the electrician is able to finish the shower installation for you this week 🤞🤞 Yvie I hope Gabriel is going from strength to strength and you’ve been able to get into your garden, Lily Sounds like you had a lovely time with your poppets, did they enjoy the Halloween search I thought that was a great idea, Hope Topbird and her OH had a good couple of days away with MIL, another visit well timed under the circumstances, Hope Chey is getting better 👋 Having an early night, have a good evening everyone Goodnight.Â
Evening all, spent the day at Firstborns with Merri and Mabel had a lovely time, a bit upsetting though knowing that I wont see them for at least a month. We will be in a bubble with Secondborn so will still see the boys. Hubby will still see Merri as she attends the school where he teaches guitar.Â
Looking at the weather forecast the coming week seems to be looking better so maybe I'll get some gardening done.
Its going to be tough times for grandparents - unable to cuddle and laugh with their grandchildren. There could be a lot of zoom and skype calls going on in the coming month. Are you back to work tomorrow Chive (if you are still around)? That half term week seems to have sped past.

Yvie I am glad that you had a good time today . It must be very difficult when you have grandchildren and don’t see them as often as you would like . Hoping for better times . Nigh night LB ,sleep well . I am signing out . See you tomorrow.
Evening everyone, Yvie so glad you had a lovely day and got to see your granddaughters. I'm seeing the girls again on Wednesday, it's going to be so hard not seeing them again for a month. Chive we did manage to go out for a walk with the poppets late afternoon when it had stopped raining. Saw a few decorated houses. But because it was raining so hard most of the day we played a hunting game around the house for hidden sweets. The girls got dressed up too, lots of fun. So glad you managed to have a few days away Chive, must have been lovely to have a change of scenery and new places to visit. Ante, so pleased all your students are better and that they can now go back to school.Â
It's still pouring down here and the wind is howling outside. Night night everyone, hope you all sleep well.
Good morning everyone. Another rainy day in progress here but - shock horror - I heard the words fog and frost mentioned on the forecast. That may be for further oop north but nonetheless its a warning of winter's approach. I'm making a shopping list for 'sco later. It will be interesting to see if there are any changes there yet.
