LB and Chive I’ve also been to with dad, rather busy.  We managed to get everything but the bread was diminishing and short of large cartons of milk but back now and having lunch and a cup of tea. I’m glad you were both successful.  Rather windy out.

Its beginning to look very stormy here so I hope that you do manage to get your grass cut Yvie. I'm glad that you got the things you needed too Rosie. By the way - how is hissing Syd aka Alfie today?

LB I just managed to hold Alfie while Rubee squirted in his mouth from the syringe I had measured out.  I put him down very quickly.   Alfie seems happy in himself.   He’s no fool though.

    Afternoon all.
I don't like when is getting dark early. But this is a charm of the season. I made pancakes for dinner because need something sweet.

LB, I'm glad that you found everything at Sco. Lucky, you can sort your hair before Thursday. Can I borrow your diary, just for few years 😁.

Yivie, nice that you got some time in the garden. Wish you dry weather tomorrow.

Rosie, I'm glad that Alfie is better. It's always tricky give cats medicine or feed them with syringe.

    Afternoon all,

Limited scope for doing much in the garden today. After a bright start, the day has reverted to the usual :(

Managed another session of leaf-clearing and consigned most of the remaining pea plants to the compost as they'd snapped during the last kazillion years of heavy rain and strong winds. There were a few final pods to munch on whilst tidying up the shed and mini greenhouse. At least all my seed packets are in the same box ready for the spring now ;)

Other than the usual heavily waterlogged areas, didn't notice anything else suffering from weather damage. All cuttings still look alive :)

Snap Ante! I am having pancakes for my tea tonight. I did manage to get my fly screen curtains on the back door down today, Meant to do it yesterday but the weather was so horrid I didn't bother. It always marks the end of the growing year when those curtains come down, although I do know that secret growing is going on underground. It feels colder tonight too.
Rosie, cats are amazing at resisting medicine. At least you have extra sets of hands to assist which does help. I remember reading once that if you could push your cat inside a jacket so that its head poked out at the end of the sleeve then then helped you avoid serious injury when dosing them. Yeah right!! I bet the creator of that handy hint never attempted it.
Biglad, when I went down to my greenhouse, parts of my lower back garden are under water.
I haven't seen SGL or Hazel today. I hope all is well with them both. T'Bird and Debs, just saying hello to you too.

Rosie An extra pair of hands is so useful when dealing with our furry friends & medication, the vets can make it look so easy,

Evening Chive. I made them simple. Little bit of cinnamon in the dough and on the top homemade plum jam. Must admit, I ate too much😳.
