Lots of miscellaneous toadstools in the garden here, but none as pretty as yours, @chicky. Found some coral fungus lurking behind the squashed runner beans when they were cleared away. Interesting cos I hadn't seen them before and had to look up "branched fungus" on the internet.
Perhaps you should move further west, @Hostafan1? The west coast of Ireland is, by rights, too far west to be in GMT, but doesn't have a different time zone cos that would just be too complicated. It means daylight is "skewed" so we get dark mornings and light evenings. But our maximum temperature this year was 23C, probably not warm enough for you...
Forgot "Bake Off" was on Tuesday. Bother. Must find a repeat.
Dew, sun and cobwebs here too... time to hang out the washing. Hope your Thursdays are all good...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Ooh what a shame @Obelixx c😢 a Milk loaf is a lovely thing ... a very slightly sweeter whiter bread with a soft crust. I just replace the water in the recipe with warmed milk (sometimes I add a couple of ozs of melted butter too). The recipe makes lovely soft rolls too.

Morning all. I'm not eating bread at the moment, trying to lose weight while OH is away, no wine either I did watch Bake Off, mouthwatering. It's repeated several times @Liriodendron, especially on 4 Seven and Saturday 12.10pm on E4.
I agree with @Hostafan1 about summer time. I think the French are going to stick with it in a couple of years. There was an Internet referendum, I voted, summer time won.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
I have just come in to put the coffee on and it is so warm now we can have it on the terrace! Toms are picked and washing is drying nicely. Family are doing ok thank you @Fairygirl, my son has has been told he can start some work from home when he feels he is able, he has a fit note from the Docs, I think this will make him feel better in himself but must not over do it. DIL is coping with her chemo.
I don't care for brioche much either. Just seems 'wrong' somehow. @Liriodendron - yes, quite a few repeats of Bake Off as @Busy-Lizzie says. That's good news @floralies. I'm sure your son will find that beneficial. Nothing worse than just 'hanging around' and probably feeling worse because of it. I think I'll cut my losses with the toms. It isn't warm enough in the growhouse. Mind you, I sowed some sweet peas yesterday, and stuck them in there, but I had to laugh at the temp they give for germination. My kitchen wasn't that warm either! I think our new restrictions won't affect me as far as travel is concerned. I'm in a little corner, between three areas, which is not affected. I thought I might not be able to get to any hills, so that's quite good. The pub closures etc don't affect me anyway, but I can see the usual rampage into off licences/supermarkets because of it, and meeting up indoors which we aren't supposed to do just now either.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
I used to like him, but he and the new wife are all over the internet now too, flogging whatever tat it is they do. I don't know if you know it @Dovefromabove, but they're talking about the problems for restaurants in the central belt etc, and the owners of The Ubiquitous Chip reckon they may have to close. That's very sad - it's been an institution in Glasgow for decades.

Don't know it @Fairygirl other than by it's wonderful reputation ........ that would be very sad ... there's a lot of sad things happening at the moment 😢
We have eaten at Mother India 😋 ... I hear they're doing their best to keep ticking over. 🤞
