I've had two notifications on my mobile from 'EEMMS' but then saying it couldn't be read or something like that so I deleted them. I'm now wondering whether they had any connection to Track and Trace.   Anybody know that this meant please?  I haven't got a smart phone.

No idea @Lizzie27 - I don't have a smartphone either. I hate the things anyway, so I'm glad I only have a very basic one for emergencies and texts.  :D
One of these young folk might know - like @Dovefromabove .....

I was slightly worried I might look like that if I didn't get a trim! @Pat E. I need another one, so I'd better phone tomorrow.
Had a nice wee outing and was glad to get to the cemetery, which sounds odd. It was horrible not being able to go on Father's Day though. I felt a huge sense of guilt.
Always the way @Busy-Lizzie. Daughter needs one for her bedroom. Have I got one the right type? Have I bu**ery banjos. Every other kind.  ;)

@Lizzie27  😊 It means that you’ve been sent a picture message that your phone is unable to ‘read’. Probably because it’s not a smart phone 😉

    is your contract with EE?

Dont think it’s anything to do with Track and Trace. For that to happen you have to have downloaded the app and if you dont have a smart phone you can’t do that 😊

Oh yes - my sister's always sending stuff to me that I can't see @Dovefromabove, no matter how often I tell her  ;)

Well today I’ve cleaned sick up in my car courtesy of Gabriel 🤢   Locked myself out. Knew what I had done as soon as the door clicked shut. It was raining and my coat was in the car. A passing neighbour took pity on me. To round it all off I have a thumping headache. Still compared to some of the recent days I’ve had it was a doddle.

Oh @Yviestevie. You must feel as if you've been very bad in a former life or something. Surely things must start turning round for you soon. Sending you a hug x
I've enjoyed my cuppa, so I might go out and see if there are any jobs I can do, before I make some dinner.

Thanks Dove - again! My cousin has texted to say she had sent me a video of the interment last Saturday, which of course I can't see because I don't have a smartphone. Tried to on my laptop but that too doesn't want to play.

Really think I will have to upgrade ASAP, so much of modern life now depends on it. It's tricky though because we have very poor mobile and/or broadband coverage, I'm lucky to get even one bar and that's only by standing at the window in the front.

Well @Fairygirl did have some good news yesterday. My great nephew has been told that his cancer op went well and they believe they have it all. He does have to have some chemo but the outlook is good

Oh that's great @Yviestevie. My sister's good friend has been battling cancer for a while and is doing really well too. Dreadful stress though.
I gave the back grass a wee trim, as it looked like it was going to chuck it down. and it's to rain most days this week. It won't need another cut now. Took down some of the sweet peas under my bedroom window. They've done well, but have been flowering since June, so were looking pretty rough. Nice to have had flowers that early in the summer though. I wonder if we'll get a favourable April next year.

Good news @Yviestevie. My brother had that op 5 or 6 years ago and is now free. I understand it's one of the more easier to cure by op than many others.

Gave in and just bought a smartphone from Tesco, a basic Samsung. What fun - not!

We're still squelching Fairygirl so no grass cutting for a while. It didn't rain much today thankfully. Couldn't get thro a flood without wellies on our usual route to the shops this morning so had to walk the long way round.
