    Morning @Dovefromabove and @Pat E 🙂
The wind is the biggest problem here, we've had some rain but it's very breezy and getting stronger. ☹️
I'm feeling a little worried and unsettled at the moment, we've had word of Covid19 outbreak in Charlie's school, 4 classes have been closed, 20 cases in our hospital amongst the staff,  🙄 Apparently not serious. A group booking have also cancelled their private meeting/meal for Friday evening. I can feel the fear. ☹️
If we're closed down by the government they will help financially, if we're just empty because people are scared that becomes expensive very quickly.
Finger's crossed it's a minor blip. The news and TV reports are very disconcerting though, even if they are reporting from miles and miles away.
Off to the hairdresser's today, you never know, might be last chance for a while. 🙄
    Good day all. 🤗

    Ditto from here.

Morning all/afties @Pat E. Overnight wet and a dry day is nice. That's what we have too. Hope you get a start on the veg and they do well. A simple pleasure  :)
That's a bummer @D0rdogne_Damsel. As you say - if you have to close, it's a better process for you, infuriating though it is. I think in a lot of cases, it's a belt and braces approach too.
Where on earth did September go eh?

    Hi DD and Fairy.

I hope the virus gives you a break DD. It’s been rough in Australia, but our State premiers have made themselves unpopular by closing State borders, but it has been working.  I hope your area gets through it ok.

Fairy, I’m looking forward to the gardening after my break.

    Morning all.
Raining here. Was a nice day yesterday.

That's scary @D0rdogne_Damsel, I hope it doesn't develop and people don't stay away from your place. When I was in Périgueux yesterday masks were obligatory even outside in the streets. I'm in Dordogne, you are in Haute Vienne, just, but under an hour away.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    It'll be a welcome distraction for you too @Pat E  :)

  • I'm in the hairdresser's now, she says it's been extremely quiet this week. In one way it's good people are staying home, of course that will stop the spread, but what about businesses. Without official closure notices there is no recompense. The terrace has been super all summer because people feel safe outside, but with this break in the weather I'm back to just 8 tables in two very 'cosy' dining rooms. Hence the need for a roof outside, but that's equally complicated with planning permission and prohibitive costs. I'm going to bury myself in plant catalogues until it all gone away. 🙄😁

    Hi all

We have enough rain for everyone.
Still rather sore, so another day of reading for me. Just finished Small Island by Andrea Levy, an excellent book.
Moira will be working from home permanently from next week, they have decided it is not safe to be in offices, or travelling by train.
Hope you don't lose too much custom @dordogne-damsel.
