    Hi all

Rain has finally stopped, but only briefly I suspect.

Listening to the radio in bed this morning and I cam up with a little quiz for you all [ no googling allowed ] Name as many songs as you can, that contain the word fandango.

I'm about to go for a walk @punkdoc, so I'll put my thinking cap on, but Bo Rap is the only one that springs to mind  ;)
Been listening to the first part of the John Lennon thing. Excellent. Very moving too. It was nice hearing Elton talk about him, although quite a lot of their relationship has already been well documented. I'm still peed off about that quote that was always attributed to Lennon about the best drummer in the world. Still a brilliant quote anyway. You can add that to your quiz - who actually said it?
I was looking at news reports of the devastation in France/Italy. Horrific. Glad you're ok @Obelixx, even if more building damage is apparent. Buildings can be fixed more easily though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Morning all - hope you’re keeping safe and dry.

Not much to say here......still reeling from the excitement of seeing a badger ambling about our back garden last night.  He didn’t seem to mind the rain 🦡🦡🦡

Morning all, a grey morning here, looks like it will rain soon so no gardening.  I'm planning to go over to Firstborn's later today for some cuddles from grandaughters (always cheers me up).  We are having the sitting room decorated on Friday so will have to move most of the furniture out.  Hubby is currently doing battle with all the cables at the back of the TV to make moving it out easier.  It's like a rats nest.
Secondborn called to say Gabriel is much better this morning.  He's still in hospital but she is hoping they will let him come home today.  Haven't seen any news this morning about the French weather but hoping everyone is safe.

Hi from Kingswinford in the West Midlands

The perils of eating sourdough toastie soldiers with a Sunday morning dippy egg ... a corner broken off an already dilapidated molar 🦷 😖
However, it’s not painful ... so far 😀  ... I’ve got a much overdue appointment in December ... I might give them a ring tomorrow and see if we can move it forward a bit ...

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
