It’s been a strange old day ... even for these strange times ... I’ve watched Autumnwatch but can’t keep my eyes open for GW. It’s recording ... I’ll watch it tomorrow. Night night ... hugs to all. šŸ¤— šŸ›Œ 😓

Gardening in Central NorfolkĀ on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

Thanks @Obelixx, @Busy-Lizzie and @tuikowhai34 for the info, we do take the Connexion but that didn't really mention G/Cs, but soon after I posted Gamm Vert sent an email to say they are staying open so hopefully will be able to buy some garlic next week when we go out for our shop.
@Busy-Lizzie I had the same problem with Zoom, O/H uninstalled jt and then reloaded it and the camera worked again, maybe you could try that?

These time differences are SO annoying. By the time I’m up and about, you’re all back in bed. Therefore, I struggle to remember what was written 4 pages ago and my iPad takes too long to change pages. 🤬

However, I CAN remember that Dove had sad news about her neighbour and worrying news about her little brother. I hope he gets positive news and that they can get him on a good regime of treatment. Sounds like Hubby’s problems. šŸ™„

Sympathies to those with phone probs. Our area is much improved since they put more towers around. One of them is on our friend’s property. Ā Coincidently, we are currently feeding their cat, Venus, while they are down the coast visiting an elderly uncle. Ā

I woke up to a soft cat head rubbing inside my hand this morning šŸ˜‚. I think Pixel was telling me she was ready for her morning walkies. Ā

    Sleep well everyone.Ā

Oh yes. Forgot about the chooks. Obelixx, I love reading about their progress. I’d love to do the same, but it’s not convenient here for us to care for them. Ā

  • Lost 5 chickens (incl 2 newborn chicks) last month to an unknown predator - no evidence or feathers. My 90 year old neighbour on the farm next door had the same. Her chickens live in/outsideĀ  her house. She has been widowed since 1985. Did my good dead for the day and collected 4 Bantam hens from N Staffs today, all safe and well in a crate in the greenhouse. Can't wait to see her face tomorrow when I give them to herĀ  😁😁😁

That’s lovely Sam. That’s why I wouldn’t be able to have chooks here. Too many possible predators.Ā

Heavy rain here at the mo. Ā We’ve just been over to feed our friends’ cat. The windscreen wipers hardly made any difference to visibility. šŸ™„

morning folks, not been on here for a while grandkids to stay, half term.Ā  Their Mum came and stayed a couple of days/nights on her days off.Ā  Am sending you and your brother lots of love and good wishes Dove, and anyone else going through all this s***, at this time, I have given up watching the TV, regarding the virus.Ā  I know it's there, I take precautions, not letting myself get neurotic (already enough from other stuff) Still got the weird"tooth/jaw/gum" ache going on, Dentists cannot find anything to be the cause.

Ā Morning all. Miserable wet day here today. Yes, I know, I’m usually whinging about lack if rain, but enough is enough. It’s just dribbling all day. I’d rather have a good storm then stop! 😁

Morning all/afties @Pat E - I know what you mean, if you could have the kind of rain we have here, it would help.Ā
It's the wind today that's more of a problem, although there's plenty of wet stuff too. There will be damage up here today without doubt.Ā  Ā I can hear the bins turning themselves over along the road. Good job mine are well wedged inĀ  :D
I'm guessing that would have been a fox @sam bevington. It's what they do.Ā  :/

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all,

Not raining yet but it will be later - that gusty wind won't be bringing anything nice :o
