Been to town for cat food, already managed a cuppa and now flopped. Still light rain. Just enough for the windscreen wipers to come on. I’ve counted 39mm so far in this lot. Yippee.
Good morning all 😊 ☕️ We have a very bright sunny morning here in Norfolk ... I slept like a log.
While we were in the garden yesterday I managed to bash my shin on a cast iron firefly cage given me by my Aged Ps years ago. OH has rubbed the resulting lump with arnica twice ... it’s flippin’ sore 😣
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
After a day of rain yesterday the sun is shining this morning.
We visited a maritime museum yesterday which was very interesting. The town is quite busy despite all the covid worries but everyone is wearing masks and keeping their distance which is good. All the shops and tourist attractions have lots of gel at the entrances and the tables in coffee shops and restaurants are well spaced out. It is all very reassuring. We are going to the Corderie Royale this morning, a rope factory, one of the longest buildings in Europe apparently, they needed the length to twist the ropes, it looks very grand from the outside, all part of the King's propaganda campaign. Hopefully will be an interesting visit.
Have a good day all, extra magic rubs to those with bruises and/or sore heads @Dovefromabove and probably @Busy-Lizzie , your OH's head.
Looking forward to meeting up tomorrow @Obelixx , I will check in later with time/place etc.

Morning all/afties @Pat E. Glad you're getting your much needed rain now. Still plenty here, but I think it's gone off now. Clumsy lot - you never see me falling anywhere.... Do you ever get those bruises on your leg and wonder how on earth you did it? I', always finding them and thinking - when did I bump something badly enough for it to bruise. Hope your meeting with @Obelixx is really enjoyable @D0rdogne_Damsel, and cake will be consumed.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

I love that musical. 💕
Children are in bed, but not yet asleep. Daughter 2's husband made a very nice chicken soup with the leftovers from lunch.
OH went to see friends after church, sounded a bit the worse for wine when I spoke to him on the phone.
night night all ... sleep tight 😴

Ouch d-fab
Persistent here this morning - doesn't look like a day where I'll be getting into the garden
