I might put my inkcap on the camera thread. You should do yours too @chicky. I should have thought of updating that thread earlier. With people being more confined to barracks, it would have been nice to have photos of local areas and walks etc. When I pass that little area where the toadstool is, I always smile because there's a fir tree which just proves how nature can make the most of an opportunity.

Hello all, beautiful Autumn morning down here, the sun is just starting to clear the fog, and there is a heavy dew on the ground and the spider's webs are lovely. Washing is on and now I have to pick the green tomatoes and put them indoors to ripen. Temp of 21 deg promised for later, I think we have this for a couple of days and then it's back to rain at the weekend. Have a good day all.
I love those mornings @floralies. The webs are beautiful Hope your family is doing ok just now. Hoping @Yviestevie is the same. We have a mix of weather here today, so I'm off out before the rain comes back. I doubt it'll be anywhere near 21 later - maybe if you change those numbers around...

Yes I saw that @Obelixx ... very interesting ... I’ve always liked the traditional English milk loaf we used to get from the village baker. A treat at weekends ... richer than a basic white loaf but not as rich as a brioche. must make some again soon ... but for today it’ll be a regular sourdough to rise overnight in the fridge and be baked tomorrow morning.
It sounds like a lovely day down there @floralies ... wet wet wet here 🙄

Don't think I've ever had a milk loaf @Dovefromabove. I can only cope with brioche if it's toasted or used in B&B pudding. Too flabby and bland otherwise.
Sounds fab @floralies. I love mornings like that. Too grey for sparkling webs here but we'll get sunnier later and 17C.
