He went to school with my ex hubby. He's a year or two older - Douglas.
I don't put heating on until it's really necessary, but when I come back from a walk, and get a shower, it can be easy to get a bit chilled later. No walks this summer though, because of the distance restriction, then the horrible situations with blocked roads and trash, so I delayed going back out. However, I spent years being frozen at work, with a poorly heated environment, so I certainly don't want to sit and freeze in my house either  ;)

    Morning all 😀

Hope you start getting sorted soon @Obelixx - bits of dangling roof don’t sound very healthy.  Can Possum help with the plant relocations?

Builders back here - its noisy out there.  No rain though.  Going to go and have a greenhouse tidy up - cucumbers have had it, but still picking ripe tomatoes, so they can stay another week or so.  Got three trees of apples to pick and store too 🍏🍎🍏

We put our heating on for a while on Saturday evening @Fairygirl.   Could have just added a jumper and longer socks but needed a bit of a lift really.   I'd not do well in your cold, damp climate.  Too fond of strappy tops and flip flops and not a fan of heavy clothing.

    Morning all.

I'm going out soon for a few things soon, including posting grandson's birthday card. Wind has dropped, for the moment.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hi all

We have sun, so need to see if my back will allow some very gentle gardening.

See we were visited by our Swiss troll yesterday.

    I'd struggle in your environment  @Obelixx ;)
Hope you can get some sorting done, but bits hanging off is never good. Take care - you don't want to get yourself injured, especially if OH is away  :/
Have you ever seen the film he did [R.Redford] where he's basically by himself on a boat? All Is Lost. It's fantastic.
I'm off to the cemetery, and I might just do the wee hill next to Dumgoyne Distillery instead of schlepping round here. It's in the same neck of the woods, sort of...
Catch you all later. Have a good day whatever you're up to.
Those kinds are the worst @punkdoc, and best treated with the ignore function  ;)

As a former goat keeper I have great faith in leaving such vermin to the efficacy of Billy Goats and karma 🐐 🐐 🐐 😉

Pete Duel 😢  and Paul Michael Glazer ... it was always the dark ones for me too 😍

OH is about to cut my hair ... watch out, you might not recognise me later on 😜

    @punkdoc take it gently!!! 😠

    Morning all,

Another surprise sunny day here. Really lovely, autumnal day. Just as well as it is hill sprints day  :(

Just to join in, Cheryl Ladd and Michelle Pfeiffer  ;)
