I don't think I'd manage more than five minutes @Biglad. He's always struck me as someone who's ego outweighs his talent by a considerable amount.Ā

It took just a few seconds of a Gavin and Tracey trailer years ago to convince me it was something to avoid and I have had to google to find out who Gorden is.Ā  Entirely missable and I do not feel my life has been blighted as a result.

Tingling here after trying a new - to us - red cabbage salad.Ā Ā https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/curried-mango-chickpea-pot Home grown Apache chillies pack a punch!

I have madeĀ  anew pair of pyjama bottoms for Possum today as she only brought short versions and hadn't expected to stay this long.Ā  Ā Bit cool for shorts even here.Ā  I have also, finally, started on patch homework for Monday's workshop.Ā

Mason chappies coming tomorrow to discuss and evaluate work needed to make things safe and then repair and rebuild.Ā  OH is golfing near Cholet.

Chooks are settling in now.Ā  2 have made it up to their proper perch but one still prefers the ladder that helps them get there, one hides under the ladder and 2 more sleep in nest boxes.Ā  Ā Not feeling completely secure yet then.Ā  Ā It'll come.

    Sweet dreams all.

  • Evening all, just a quick hello.Ā

A lot going on here to deal with, not all bad, just busy and messy. Sun shone today though, made things better.Ā

I am going on holiday soon, hopefully, just a little apartment in Rochefort and hopefully some time in La Rochelle andĀ Les Sables-d'Olonne as Charlie wants to see where the Vendee Globe race starts from, we have our places booked @Obelixx now for Tuesday 27th, thank you for the link. I'll be in touch soon too by PM. Looking forward to the break.Ā

I hope you are all well, I read back a bit but am ready for bed now, sleep well.

Hope you enjoy your break @DOrdogne_Damsel, you have certainly earned it. We loved La Rochelle when we visited a few years ago so I'm very envious.
Ā We did enjoy our holiday in North Wales despite all the Covid restrictions and the scenery was magnificent. We'd booked last year as I'd never been to that part of Wales, then had to cancel and re-booked in July so I'm pleased we were able to make it.

Love James Corden’s stuff and love Gavin and Stacy (we’ve been rewatching them too). Ā Proper laugh out loud TV, that also makes you cry.

Also rewatching Michael Palin’s round the world in 80 days - bl@@dy marvellous.

Hi to everyone. Ā Our son has retuned to Canberra, so it’s back to normal again.Ā

Ps. I absolutely hate this daylight saving rubbish. Ā I keep getting mixed up with meal times etc. I can’t understand why we need it here. We get plenty of sunlight as it is. I’m glad I don’t have cows to milk. 😳

    good morning all.Ā
@Pat EĀ  I've got the opposite problem. Our clocks go back in a couple of weeks and I hate the long dark nights.
I wish they'd leave "summer time"
