Morning all. Back from taking OH to the airport. Don't know when I'll see him again If only we could get all the contracts exchanged I might be able to go to Norfolk for a couple of weeks, but I wouldn't be able to go out once I got there. There is always the worry that there will be another lockdown and I won't be able to get back for moving day. That is also the worry if I stay here, that OH won't be able to get back.
Bergerac airport was almost empty. Normally it would be heaving.
@chicky and @D0rdogne_Damsel your gardens are looking great. Mine not so much after its neglect when I was in Norfolk during lockdown and because I always have gaps that I put annuals in like Salvia Farinacea, Rudbeckias, Zinnias etc but I couldn't this year.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Hello @Busy-Lizzie, gosh what a stressful time for you. Hopefully it will all be over soon. As far as the garden is concerned, time to think ahead to the new one. I presume the new people will be garden enthusiasts, they must be to have bought such a lovely garden.

I know I'm biased @punkdoc, but it's not too shabby eh? The rock striations are beautiful. I didn't realise you were going that far north though. So glad the weather played ball. Ironically, the weather was better further up yesterday. Southern hills were still shrouded even once the sun came out here. Fingers crossed that everything pans out @Busy-Lizzie. Not easy. We have new neighbours too, so everything must have gone through this time for the old neighbour. She had a difficult time because of the timing of the virus. At least she didn't have to get on a plane though. Soup on the go, and it's clearing up - hope it's the same for you @Biglad. I'll get out this afternoon for a walk somewhere. Still some murky stuff coming in, and breezy, but good when on the move.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
No soup @Fairygirl but the weather is glorious out there! Just nipped in to do a couple of non-garden tasks but will be back out for a good stint this aft
Lovely photos @punkdoc ... so glad you had a good time ... you both deserve it. What news of your mother? @D0rdogne_Damsel that's a handsome chap A summer's worth of cobwebs have been removed from downstairs and a thorough dusting and polishing has taken place ... sourdough is rising in the kitchen and a bowl of minestrone is ready for my lunch ...

On our beach. We were the only people on it, whenever we went.
