Good morning all 😊 ☕️ just waking up here .... are you driving today @Hostafan1 ... how’s the weather down there? I’ll have a look at some webcams ... gorgeous sunrise down at Penzance 😎
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
Morning all/afties @Pat E - just send some of that rhubarb up this way. I really should grow it again. Never quite got round to it in this garden. I like @steephill's pix too. A well stacked woodpile is a joyous thing. Any sprints today @Biglad? So much for the nice day here, clag is right down and it's been raining. Oh well. It was slightly warmer overnight though, and managed to sneak into double figs. Not sure yet what I'll do today.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Lack of wages won't put me off, @D0rdogne_Damsel - talking to prospective purchasers about the lovely plants will be enough payment. I am retired, after all...
Dandelions are calling.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Supposed to have rained here all morning. Not a drop.
Come time for walkies and there were rumbles of thunder and half way round the heavens opened. Feeling damp now. However, the shoulder of lamb is already in the oven have a long slow cook in an interesting bath of spices, herbs, garlic anchovies and wine so I can go and enjoy a long hot shower before I tackle the sweet potatoes for roasting and an apple and blueberry cobbler.
It has, of course, stopped raining now we're home. OH is due to go back to the golf club for the prize giving but will stop and see his partner o the way. Silly man fell off the roof while cleaning his chimney and has broken both arms which won't do a thing for his handicap.
Hope everyone's had a good day.

Back home, took just under 5 hours. It has rained here and there has been a storm as the circuit breaker switch had gone off so no electricity. The little freezer in the kitchen fridge was a bit soft so it's breaded prawns and scallop tarts for dinner. I pushed the button and it's come back on.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Back from our castle on a Scottish island. Thanks for sorting the weather @Fairygirl, 4 days of wall to wall sunshine and not a breath of wind. We have had a lovely time, eaten some amazing food and their COVID precautions were fantastic. On the way home today, we had to stop at a motorway services and it was terrifying. There were thousands of people milling about, no distancing, have to admit I had a bit of a wobbly and walked out.

The rhubarb has cropped very well over a number of years but only a couple of plants, which are overdue on the splitting and replanting front!

More likely to be mixing some more horse manure and MPC for exercise.
